Added on December 2, 2010, 9:48 am QUOTE(AlexLai @ Dec 1 2010, 05:37 PM) I'll give you a short insight first, will post a full one later.ahh, first gaming mouse I had that is "firmware-less". First thing that caught my attention was the firmness of the mouse button, even firmer than DA and Ikari on the USB connector, ![]() it's a design flaw? the back is too long and too heavy until the it's literally sinking(not too clear in this picta), it'll damage the USB in the future? QUOTE(CwwKiT @ Dec 3 2010, 11:00 PM) For the budget you give, I really think it is a best gaming mouse that fit.Any way, if you don't like it (myself also, some bad prejudice to logitech) then get a Kinzu OEM version. If you still can find any Kinzu in lowyat shop just go ahead (mostly out of stock). The price will bit about RM59. I owning a Kinzu as well, the retail version is costing about RM140 which with braided wire and white scroll wheel, otherwise is same with the OEM version. Paiseh it still an optical mouse. If you looking some brand like Razer, Steelseries, Logitech, and Roccat, with budget less than RM150 is quite hard to get a laser mouse. QUOTE(CwwKiT @ Dec 3 2010, 11:37 PM) I not really Razer fanz also and of cause not Razertard. I more to Steelseries. For me no offence also. A4 is a cheaper brand, if say you are looking for some pro gaming grade of gears, then just can say A4 tech is not at the same band. Anyway, for normal usage of cause no problem, a nameless RM10 mouse can use also and maybe can last 5 years, who knows. The differences maybe in wise of comfortability, sensor tracking power, accuracy, precision, life expectancy etc. A more expensive gaming gear with some extra feature like macro recording, lighting, MMO gaming mouse with more than 10 buttons which are not really necessary to some of the user, just how you perceive. A mouse that you comfort with its shape, size, precision, and price than is good enough. Again, if say you choosing an A4 tech gaming mouse with price about maybe 4o to 60 or whatever, I will prefer Kinzu, just my 2 cent. |

QUOTE(Lil Kiasu @ Dec 2 2010, 11:42 AM) The Ikari was the first 'true' driverless gaming mouse by the big companies. But he mentioned it was the first one he actually owned. Oh another difference between the Kinzu retail and OEM which I can't believe I left out is the rubber coating on the retail version. You don't have it on the OEM. |

I'll get Kinzu anyday. Solid performance. The Pyra still has some way to go before it matches the Kinzu when delivering the goods. The Pyra however, is good if you need the macros.
