Nah, i was saying what i should have said in a third person view.

Let's say you have a product, some one else wanted to buy it, and a third person comes in, and doesn't even have used your product and started viewing the product negatively, complain, discourage users to buy. Unless you have any proven source, please share and lead us to light.

But please, do not lead us to forest(a hokkien verb of "Cuo Lang Lip Ba") A meaning of a person doesn't know well about this, and leads people to somewhere wrong.
*
lol, the english phrase for it is "the blind leading the blind"

*
true true. if it suits your hand well, you would think of it as the perfect mice naturally.

i dont know what u talking about lul >.>

for a mice, you've got yourself quite a nice budget there.
but i'd advice you to read up on the details and specs of mice first before making the decision.

ambi is like ss xai, kinzu. razer abyssus, copperhead, diamondback. a mice where both your left / right hand can use.

ergo is like ss ikari. ss deathadder / naga/ mamba. which only fits either your left or right hand.
most ergo mice only fits right hand.
but razer have the deathadder left hand edition for lefties. nod.gif

Logitech G700! but not available yet, probably by this month will be available.
others you can consider as well are Razer Death Adder, Roccat Kone, Gigabyte M8000X, Logitech G500, Steel Series Ikari.

personally would advise you to not get RAT5, even their RAT7 model are not good enough, so.. I wouldn't expect the RAT5 to be good.

ambidexterous design mouse are suited for both sides of hand,
while ergonomic are design that suit for only one side of hand, mostly right handed.
*
yea, the cyborg RAT series' design is great. but the con is the sensor. it failed.

I prefer ergonomic mouse. Good for long gaming.
*
personally i prefer ambi due to my small hands.
finding the ergo mice a lil too bulky for me.

guys.. er. this is not spoon feeding ya as im do some research but the answer i met not satisfy me. hence i looked up for some user experience. biggrin.gif my question is, which is the bestest mouse for FPS? my answer lead to ikari optical/laser. is that true? or got a better mouse outside? currently im just using logitech MX518. kinda not powerful enough for me. tongue.gif
*
actually i believe there isnt a best mice for anything. i did ask the same question like you when i was looking for a mice. some forums lead me to ikari, some xai, and den deres always the razer , logitech counterpart. which makes it really senseless.
i think you should go and test out the mice you have in mind, you like it, problem solved.

Depends on how user perceive.

Since you say 1800dpi is insufficient, but you looking for ikari optical which only 1600dpi??

I am not sure how about ikari optical and ikari laser precision different. (i don have optical version)
Based on my observation and experience on my own ikari laser and Deathadder, there is some different for their precision.
I found it harder to do small distance motion precisely for DA compared to ikari laser.

Laser sensor is working on more different surface also.

There is a teenfest on this weekend at midvalley, steelseries has a booth there and the price is after duo discount.
The price for Ikari laser price should be low enough to fit your budget as well.
*
the original DA is more precise compared to the DAv2. atm i`m using DAv2 on goliathus. previously on 1800dpi, and find that it isnt rly that precise.
so i switched high sens to low sens. now playing on 450dpi, 2.5sens in cod. find that it became more precise compared to when using 1800dpi and 5 or 6 sens.

"it's got most of the features of a R.A.T. 7 (including that 5600dpi sensor and higher-quality components) but without the adjustable thumb section." - engadget

Price from amazon(USD):
RAT COD version 81.40
RAT7 79.99
RAT5 46.99
looks like a RAT5 with RAT7 price

IMHO, it's more bling than anything else  tongue.gif
*
waw, if its the sensor with the normal RAT7, den i`ll stay far far away from it.

Your goliathus is speed version right??
I got goliathus control version, which i don't like it paired with my Ikari but better for DA.
My understanding is make me think that the size of razer's teflon feet is usually smaller compared to SS mice(i think so compared few product), so that will cause less friction between mice and mousepad, so they can skate better on rougher surface.
*
yea, i find that the feet on DA is really small. and the bottom part of the DA is dragging over my goliathus speed.

Really? Maybe i am trying the friction of DA and Lachesis only.
Their feet size is so small, made me think that Ikari glide and Xai glide are much more smoother.
*
yea, the glossy bottom of my DA has those minor scratches.
whereas my ikari doesnt feel like it drags over the goliathus speed.

The Ikari was the first 'true' driverless gaming mouse by the big companies.
But he mentioned it was the first one he actually owned.

Oh another difference between the Kinzu retail and OEM which I can't believe I left out is the rubber coating on the retail version. You don't have it on the OEM.
*
since kinzu and pyra are around the same price and same physical size, which would be better if i were to out pyra(wired) and kinzu on the line?

I'll get Kinzu anyday. Solid performance. The Pyra still has some way to go before it matches the Kinzu when delivering the goods. The Pyra however, is good if you need the macros.
*
haha thought so, cause one of my friend is planning on getting a gaming mice.
i recommend him the kinzu.
but he is still attracted to blings, xpecially roccat's.

n the side note, due to my inability to get to lowyat, anyone thats going there soon and interested in helping me out on this little errand(which is purchasing a kinzu oem pack for me) please inform me, yes, your favour will be repaid in terms of cash if you want.

like you said mouse doesnt that is definitely true

however my concern for mouse is just this = good tracking, good quality, good comfort

mouse pad on the other hand is where you are wrong.. QCK can't even beat sphex on resistance.. SX is a dream come true.

so far i've set my target on Steelseries SX

as for mouse. i still haven't decided...

my mx518 is still strong.. but i definitely want a better one like the old DA 1800.. ive heard issues on the new ones..
*
i'm using the new DA. so far no problem with it, but some sites say theres jitter problems if paired with cloth mat but i dont experience any jitter at all when paired with goliathus speed.

but, if you have no need for higher dpi than 1800 dpi, i would say go for the old DA too, if you can find it that is.

I using DA as well, no any jitter issue with any of my mouse mat in my collection (4HD, Destructor, Goliathus Control, Qck+ moon)

New and old DA not really only differ with higher DPI, a different sensor of cause with a better tracking power, better accuracy, precise and stable, every thing.
I am not sure whether because of the age of the product, but compared my old DA refresh with my friend's old DA, there are some different in precision wise.
*
but apparently, some say the old DA's sensor is more accurate, precise and stable when compared with its new sensor.

if i were to see the old DA on sale, i wouldnt hesitate to get myself one even though i alrdy have the new DA.
would really want to have a go on the old sensor.

well, you'll need the proof or purchase(receipt), and the mice itself.
and make sure the mice is still within its warranty period.
