C3 rewiring is the easiest to mod.....
Same goes to the Op-Amp mod too....

haha..I feel S330 is enough and C3 has more bass than that ald..

it depends on preference.
I like C3 bass cuz it's more than enough for me (just like my current setup)
but most of my friends think C3 subwoofer is a waste of money (cuz they expect big subwoofers to go BOOM)

I think C3 sub just nice.
But frankly speaking,I would like a combination of C3 and S330.
Features of C3 like remote control would be cool and the clarity of S330.

I love that 8" subwoofer and the external amp design of C3 but I also love the S330 sound quality

Perhaps that's why S530D comes out..
But with price elevated.
But don't have the ext amp..
Can't connect to other sources.

i thinking the way the it is being made is not very right
the sub of c3 is 8" 8ohm?
i think the optimal speakers that it should run on maximum is 6x9" 4 ohms for its amp chip on bridged configuration
and it is made for best connected to computer saundcard only because of the opamp circuit inside.
also the original power filter cap is way too small to support such huge sub

how much is the original price of it anyway? now? is cash converters cheating for the price?
i was tempted to buy it at first. but now reconsidering because of the parts involved... and i'm a 2.0 lover

indeed is true that the amp doesn't provide enough power to move the subwoofer correctly.
One will have to mod them to be more powerful to allow the stiff suspension of the 8" sub to break in correctly.

but still I like how it sounds

Edifier C3 costs RM400+/-

really wish to see what you can do to mod the C3. but if you still wants a 2.0 go for it then.

maybe i can build c3 amp hybrid with r1900t style 2.0 to save time and money modding the originals

don't forget... amp alone does not create similar sound like the C3
the speaker enclosure design is also important

some of the reasons why C3 is expensive because C3 got 2 inputs,lcd volume display,and the infrared remote all cramped together with the amplifier unit.

R1900T3 is slightly cheaper than C3

i roughly knows what r1900t saunds like now that i've built a low down version of it..... but i'm looking for something more! so i'll just troll along =)

C3 offer good stuff because the amp using digital volume control, normally wins out all budget potentiometer volume control.

Sometimes can't imagine what it sounds like when you mod. I had mine modded and i was amazed with the improvements

c3 have some kind of harsh aluminum trebles fyi
