it could be because of the fresh speaker... give it some time then the pecah sound will go away...

oh... as Edifier say, your soundcard may be the problem too... mind telling what soundcard you use?

A good source is required.
like a good soundcard...

secondly... the position of each speakers.
go to this site to learn more on how to place your speaker
put your subwoofer on the floor and not on the table

I buy the 2nd hand sound card of Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema. I position the speaker in 5.1 position then I mount the seround speaker on behind wall already. The center speaker I place below the TV. What software can calibrate the distance sound reach my ear?

actually in 5.1 the surround speakers suppose to be on the side instead of rear. rear speakers are used in 7.1 instead. the sound distance, of course you can locate them according to this.

i don't know which part of the sound you want to improve to make the speaker 'sound good as possible', as sound is subjective, what good to others may not be good to you.

yim1981 - bear in mind that HCS5640 is only PC Multimedia speaker and it is nowhere near the true Home Theatre.

Edifier SoundbarUSB??

I just visited the international website and it appears that there is new interesting product from Edifier. In addition, I also found that MP300+, E1100, E3350 and M20 has been renamed to 'Aurora', 'Prowler', 'Prisma', and 'PrimeUSB' respectively. Now waiting for the USB soundbar details. looks interesting with slim form factor.

i am concerned that edifier will become 'fashion' PC speakers manufacturer instead of the 'quality sound at affordable price', seeing their latest products mainly focus on design. laugh.gif just hope it's not. we need newer 2.1 / 5.1 M and R series products! tongue.gif
