Did you restart after u install the libsx?? What i did last time is i install chromium 1st...then it sayz i dint have Libsxx installed...after that i installed the libsxx and it auto configure the Chromium. Did you check in the menu Folder for Chromium...Maybe its already there.... Also i did a dependencies check via X Term. apt-get install -f u can try this... I refered how to install from various sites... http://meegoportal.com/?cat=6&paged=3http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=33051http://mynokiamobile.org/2010/04/14/google...mium-shortcuts/This post has been edited by angelbratz: Jul 19 2010, 06:22 PM

Try this sudo gainrooto dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/libxss(filename).deb dpkg -i chromium(filename).deb IINM your first dpkg syntax is wrong, unless you CDed AND THEN DPKGed.

thanks for your file sharing bro.. i have successfully ported chromium into N900..just now i type wrong the filename that's why i cant make it..lol..haha..anyway will enjoy it later..
below is the summarized route if you download both file from bro angel (p/s: the filename maybe differ from other website you seek for so if you download thru the link angelbratz provided..then follow the step below..or else just change the filename according to your file)
--------------------------------------- Open Xterminal and type: Root
Type: cd /home/user/MyDocs/ dpkg -i libxss1_1.1.3-1maemo1_armel.deb
Type: dpkg -i chromium_5.0.369.2-maemo4_armel.deb
DONE..ENJOY YOUR GOOGLE CHROMIUM:)

QUOTE(chicaman @ Jul 19 2010, 10:30 PM) USB OTG can work in N900? USB OTG no, not without extensive hardware mods. Even THEN it may very well not work. USB HOST, however, is on the way, as soon as the HEN project gets a good kernel coder to update the kernel modules needed for hostmode to work reliably. It already works for the devs, mind you, only not consistantly. Honestly, I'd take proper hostmode over OTG any day to begin with lol. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jul 19 2010, 10:47 PM
