Why need to 2 play through? 1 play through can plat it already
But this game very boring to plat, comparing GOW3 i almost plat it in 1 week leisurely (maybe play hour 20-25hours only).

treasure hunter trophy is a real pain..

thats the only trophy that's eluding me till i get my plat and bid farewell

lol..weird la, most players plat the game and move on to others. FF13 is not like classical FF's and FF7-10 where u can always find a reason to replay the game. sad man.

to get a plat will involve seemingly endless grinding and alot of time (+/- 100 hours). so after players get the plat, they will be bored of the game already which kills any intention of replaying

yeah,trophy system kinda ruin my ff experience.
in previous ff,i can play whole day long leisurely without the needs of any trophy.

seriously,although i replay all my previous ff many times(ff9 9times xD)i have no intention to replay this game in nearest time.

Because this game have not much meaning to replay, myself also replayed FF9 for atleast 7 times i think, on my old PC last time

I think the reason this game have no replay value is because the game content is too linear. Storyline is dull~ The grinding part is extremely boring.

I'll say because of XBOX360,this highly potential game has been reduced to this level.Even the original planned DLC has gone now

actually the trophy is ok lar since you need to do 'everything' to get the plat. but other than that, there is not enough 'non-linearity', and the crystarium (lol dun even remember if it's spelt liddat) thing is just plain boring compared to FF10's sphere grid. The side quests also boring. Mostly running here and there. And grinding. There is no real 'weapon upgrading' too. I recall those days when i'd hang around new areas to fight battles, gaining gils to buy everything in a new town, learning enemy skills, level up, etc etc. Or just play cards to refine them to magic/items. Or carding enemies and mug/steal for rare item/weapon. And i just realized i played FF12 twice, doing everything except getting that Danjuro dagger if im not mistaken. From FFX-2 onwards i didn't really enjoy them anymore. Really hope they'd re-HD those classics (7,8,9,10) and the real real classics (1-6) in PS3, like what they did to God of War, or so i heard.

FF1-6 is too old to re-HD already......, i have never touch them before....

Try it out, they are the classic and foundation of FF. Not to mention, aside from their graphic, their storyline and battle system is even better compare to some recent FF.

There's DS remake of III & IV.I,personally haven't try it yet also but played the classic before

Ya wei, seriously those who started with those FF's wouldn't be too happy with 7 and 8, but 9 brings the 'classical' feel back. I started my FF experience with 8, so i'm okay with all of it. They should make the new FF's like the old one's la.... just look at FF10-2 and 13 really make me wanna cry. No castle, no king, no princess, only world to save. Aihz. I fired up FF9 last night... going for the PGWSF (i think it's perfect game without skipping fmv) since in ps3 can't skip fmv anyway... see how long this playthrough can last!

or got any other good PS3 games to recommend? RPG. i wanted to try Star Ocean International:LH but it seems that some trophies are just plain insane... like the previous Star Ocean series. and the storyline not as good as previous games... aih, new games all liddat wan.

If you plan to hu8nt trophy for Star Ocean 4, i think you will need a MINIMUM 400 hours. But for casual play through it is a fun game to play.
