Hey, if you want to farm Gil so badly, I recommend you to get a Collector's Catalog , available at Moogleworks OR FOR FREE at Taejin Tower (7th Tier). Upgrade it to Connosieur Catalog and fight some tortoise! Here's an EFFECTIVE and QUICK way to kill tortoise: (Only applicable for Adamantoise, and Adamantortoise)

Condition required:

1) Characters:
-Sazh (LEADER)
-Fang
-Snow
2)Sazh MUST be able to summon and his ability, called Cold Blood MUST be learned. Including Haste and Brave as well.
3)Use the following deck:

Sazh/Fang/Snow

SYN/SAB/COM (1)
RAV/COM/RAV (2)
RAV/COM/COM (3)
COM/COM/COM (4)

Strategy:

1)Have Sazh cast Haste and Brave (I forgot, but the one with the sword symbol) ON HIMSELF ONLY.
2)Summon eidolon.
3)The tortoise should fall by now, paradigm shift to set 4 and use Blitz TWICE.
4)Immediately, switch to 2 and use Cold Blood until your eidolon gestalt meter worn out.

P/S: Don't enter gestalt mode.
AND DONT STAGGER THE TORTOISE YET.

5)When your eidolon is about to left you, switch to 1 and apply the same buff to Fang and Snow.
6)That done, switch to 2 and stagger.
7)Immediately, switch to 3 and spam Cold Blood until the stagger meter becomes 999.9%
8)Switch to 4 and KILL!!

If you done it right, it'll die with one stagger.

Possible drop:

Trapezohedron (Worth 2million, but sell value? 10k lol)
Platinum Ingot (Meant to be sell, 150k)

Just poison him, heal, and sentinel when he hit you with the tornado.

Lightning (leader) - Lionheart>Omega max, Connoisseur Catalog, Gaian Ring max (resist Quake and regular Stomp), Imperial Armlet max
Fang - Taming Pole>Kain max, Genji Glove, Gaian Ring max, Imperial Armlet max
Vanille - Belladona>Nirvana (i didnt max it for my own reasons), Collector Catalog, Gaian Ring max, Imperial Armlet max

Please stock up with Daze cure potions!

Guide >
1. Start with 3xSEN Shao will Quake 1st usually.
2. After that, 3xSYN. Buff till you get Shell will do.
3. Next, 3xSAB. Debuff till u get DeProtect, DeShell and Imperil. Anything extra like Slow is bonus.
4. Now, 3xSYN again. Get FULL buff. Even Veil and Vigilance to reduce DAZE chance! With En-wateva +Bravera, Fang can hit 250-300k per hit at 999% stagger.
5. Start ganking with Diversity!
6. Switch to Tortoise when you see the word ULTIMA!
7. Back to Diversity after you tank the Ultima. Once Staggered, ArmyOfOne that fuker till around 900% at least! Then just keep spamming wateva-Strike cuz it will be 99,999 dmg already.
8. If the Bay lands, use the Daze Potions!
9. Relentless to finish it off if you think your HP is high enough to tank regular attacks.
