Guys, need to aks something...

I am currently in Grand Pulse and my team consist of Fang, Lightning and Vanille. But i can't seems to kill king behemoth and can only settle with those wolf monster and those big bird (after some serious debuff).

Anyone can advice me on what to do?

My member's CP progress as for my weapon and accesory, did not upgrade

Fang - COM (Max), SAB (Max), SEN (70-80%)
Lightning - COM (Max), MED (Max), RAV (70-80%)
Vanille - MED (Max), SAB (Max), RAV (70-80%)

*Max as in completed up to the allowed cap for Chapter 11

I tried, just not fast enuf to prevent it from changing to standing mode. I am surprised i can't take it down. DO i need to farm more CP?

Ok noted, highwind is Fang's COM skill right?

Guys, is there any alternative to farm gil other than farming plat? Very boring to spam death on adam >.<

Bro, this is how i 'death' him to death

You need to get vanille's death spell (need to finish gran pulse chapter), then equip any accessories that will increase speed to her, for other two character just equip catalogue. You can also try to upgrade vanille's Belladona wand to Malboro wand (increase chance to instant kill with death).

My party consist of Vanille, Fang, Sazh

at the start of the battle vanille should summon to make adamntoise (or tortoise) drop to its knee, then vanille should cast deshell and deprotect, fang will cast slow, imperil and also most importantly curse(increase chance to instant kill with death too), sazh will cast haste to everyone.

After vanille had casted deshell and deprotect, spam death and hope it will kill adam instantly. Rinse repeat.


p.s: IMHO, try to get to eden hall, there are one adam close to save point and you can reset if you kill it without plat or trapz.

Bro, i don't think i can kill it the normal way. My character's hp is only about 9k -13k. one stomp almost die >.<

I had finished the main story and currently backtracking to finish up the mission, made a bad choice to skip growth egg before proceed from grand pulse. Farming CP without one sux

Really? Wow, did not know other debuff helps, cause i read from somewhere that curse can increase chance of death. Not sure about other debuff tho, but since alot of ppl agree to it then i guess it might be true. And with Malboro Wand, the chance to instant kill adam with death will be greatly increase.

Yes, basically the games remembered all the weapon that exist in your inventory, if you have it once you can safely sell it or discard it or upgrade it as you like and you can still obtian the treasure hunter trophy

Yeah i know but i am currently addicted to psn games like castle crasher, shanks, etc etc so did not touch FF13 for more than a week now

The story line is REALLY too linear, you can only go in one direction and the worse part it there are only one side-quest which is the Cie'th stone mission (2 if you consider the oerba repair one). As an FF hardcore fan, i wish they would really consider giving us back the worldmap exploration and tons of side quest.

I have 12 ingots and 3 traps right now, if i were to keep killing adam, i don't think i need to save up money for trapz

You do not need to upgrade your weapon throughout the whole gameplay. You can even defeat the last boss without upgrading your equipment one bit.

IMHO, upgradin them is to gain treasure hunter trophy

First of all, i've played a fair share of FF13 and till now no problem. Believed alot of people have not encountered any while playing ff13 as well.

Then again, that depends on how long you use your ps3, if you play for long hours at a time, then for sure lens problem will have a better chance to occur. No matter it is ff13 or other games. Just my opinion

p.s: Advise to always remove disc from your ps3 when you turn it off, don't keep it inside your ps3.

I feel for you, multicast spam from two raktajiva is damn annoying.

I am trying to find one too, but for ultimate weapon upgrade, try youtubing it.
