QUOTE(Koranshita @ Nov 19 2021, 12:51 PM) Cimb fastsaver used to have 1%p.a interest and I think got cut down to 0.3%.Basically sg banks have no interest except for likes of CIMB fastsaver. QUOTE(tsutsugami86 @ Nov 19 2021, 01:50 PM) We not care about the 1%pa interest (Mostly transfer out to invest & don't put a lot money in bank) Yup. I didn't care about interest. What's more important is whether need to lock up the money or not.We just care any minimum amount required maintain in account |

QUOTE(edwin1002 @ Nov 21 2021, 11:00 PM) https://www.cimb.com.sg/content/dam/cimbsg/...and-charges.pdf10 SGD per new ATM card. You can definitely withdraw in SG ATM, but not sure if you can withdraw in MY's ATM or not. It is an ATM card, not a debit card, so you may want to check with CIMB SG for more info. Not much said about the ATM card in the website. |

QUOTE(edwin1002 @ Nov 21 2021, 10:11 PM) Don't bother. They only have one branch in Singapore and atm machine is located there at that branch only. So if you want to withdraw money, you need to travel to that branch.Better suggestion, just use bigpay to withdraw SGD if you really want to withdraw SGD to spend. |

If you are essential bank, you get more branches. If you are not essential, you get only one branch. You still have not reply about the deal you made with uob. Still waiting to hear about your uob deal. |

Anyone knows specifically what sort of link there is between CIMB MY and CIMB SG?
Specifically if CIMB MY freezes account (due to account holder has passed away) does the same automatically happen at SG side? |

For all with bank account in SG and/or with BigPay card, please write to BigPay customer support in MY to suggest a new feature ---> allow Malaysians to top up BigPay card with SGD.
Most SG banks have high markup for non-SGD transactions. BigPay already supports SG customers but Malaysian customers can only top up with MYR at the moment. This feature will be beneficial for Malaysians with bank accounts in SG. I did that myself but BigPay will only implement this feature if there are demands for it. So please write to them to support this idea. |
