so did u received the activation code? I have transferred to my sg account 3 days ago but till not never received any activation code.
The sg did called me for verification. but no news till now. My Malaysia CIMB account shows my sg account is active though

Which step are you at now?
Did you transfer the $1k or the $1 for eKYC? If you mean activation code for CIMBClicks SG first time login then it is after you transfer the $1 and they call you to verify your details and purpose of opening account.

But to answer your question, yes I received the activation code.

hmm.. my steps is kind of messed up though, i got called first, then they ask me to perform the eKYC, which i have done later on, and then no reply after that.
So how long did u wait for the activation code after u done the eKYC

About 1 or 2 days.
You can call them up if you want. But overseas call charges apply la...

Anyone knows how long does it usually takes for SG account to activate after transferring 1K SGD thru transferwise ?

after identitify verification via fund transfer from cimb my or ur own bank account in sg.

Anyone linked their CIMB MY account into CIMBClicks SG?
I did this a few days ago but till now still saying "pending approval".

i have linked my account, but how do u perform the eKYC if u haven done the linking?
the process should be open CIMB MY account -> transfer 1k sgd to CIMB SG -> linking -> perform eKYC -> got activation code and open CIMBClicks SG

We urge the MAS and the SGX to consider adding CIMB SG as one of the qualifying banks for one to open a CDP Account.

I believe you are linking CIMB SG account to CIMBClicks MY.
Now I am trying to link CIMB MY account to CIMBClicks SG.

Anyone knows how to Xfer to CIMB using CIMB? Xfer has more than 10 digits virtual account but CIMB account number has only 10 digits.

you cant. Only solution is to change bank.

How about during Xfer, I choose DBS and I got DBS xfer account number. Then I FAST transfer from my CIMB to that DBS Xfer account ok bo?

hahaha man. i think i know what u are trying to do as I am doing the same thing. I called cimb and communicate with xfers, only solution is to switch bank. and yes, i think u can if u get dbs, try with a small amount first, the issue with cimb is that the local transfer 10 digit number. because the 17 digit number is a virtual account number under cimb for xfers.

I called CIMB and they said can't xfer to cimb.. asked me to use other bank. I shooted them what for if use other bank and CIMB offers to xfer the virtual bank account and can't be paid from?

yeah, did the same thing. but end up they say will liaise with xfers regarding this issue but i think since a week already still no news.

how stupid they are...

no way to open CIMB bank account online right? need to go branch to verify IC also rite?
