QUOTE(David_Yang @ May 6 2020, 08:59 PM) Not all of us have priority banking. I know I don't have and will never open one in the future even if I could. QUOTE(EddieBrock @ May 8 2020, 02:50 PM) Just tell them investment or put SG FD. QUOTE(EddieBrock @ May 8 2020, 02:55 PM) Why did the Maybank staff told me it is not allowed lol Keep in mind some done maybank only deal with priority banking. Not all maybank can do it. To know which maybank, look at the list behind. If that maybank cannot, try another maybank.May I know when you guys opened the account? This year? |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 8 2020, 04:24 PM) Sure, but I highly doubt that a non-priority customer will be entertained. I mean OCBC not even help their priority clients if they are not super priority and willing to throw a lot of money in the garbage bin by accepting a terrible exchange rate. At CIMB they need to post documents to Singapore (yes, POST, no electronic mail), make phonecalls to the Singapore branch and so on. If you not have a RM that is willing to do this, you surely have to go to Singapore. Or did you manage to make someone outside the priority center in Maybank do it for you? By the way, because of the long snail mail process I decide to show up personally in Singapore also, anyway was in mood for a 2 day food trip without the family |

QUOTE(cklimm @ May 8 2020, 04:44 PM) I have a very deep love for two Laksa places in Singapore for more than 15 years. Totally Off-Topic: I love all the Laksas from North to South, East Coast and Sarawak, but Katong Laksa is my alltime favourite. If you know a place in KL that matches our Singapore friends, feel free to PN me |

Quite interesting. I’m trying to open up a new Maybank Premier Wealth account in Malaysia LOL. So far, the RM has gotten all my details via email - once the MCO is fully lifted on both sides, I probably have to make a trip up to JB.
Good luck to all of us |

QUOTE(livellorT @ May 10 2020, 10:40 AM) Saw someone posted here saying that they get charges few dollar when their balance is SGD500. Kindly read the faq at bank page. Is all there. In fact you have already answered your own question. There's no fall below fees. No minimum balance. But don't la keep sgd0 inside. Keep at least SGD1.00My question is, the initial deposit for CIMB SG Fastsaver is SGD1000, but how about minimum balance thereafter? Only see the no-fall below fee & no monthly account fee features for this account and no where to show the minimum balance. |

It seems in his screenshot he doesn't even have the link SG account option which should below the PRS option. This post has been edited by Gwynbleidd: May 10 2020, 04:02 PM |
