After completing my application I immediately linked my MY account. Didn't have to wait. I applied last week. It seems in his screenshot he doesn't even have the link SG account option which should below the PRS option.

When was your application? you need to wait for the sg account to be open, and activated. This process can be slower due to massive covid circuit breaker (MCCB) there

See that SG Accounts option, that's how I linked mine. All I had to do was click that and key in IC number if I recall correctly.

After linking Singapore account, the pre-activated Singapore account number will automatically appear in cimb clicks?

Or the Singapore account number will only appear once we complete the activation process?

When will it appear?

Before transferring the funds or after?

I didn’t see any bank account in my cimb clicks

It will appear after it is approved by CIMB MY. Then click the SG flag and you can see the account.

It will only appear after the request is approved which for me was the following day. I only transferred funds after this. You could check the request status by clicking the Singapore Accounts option, the same option you clicked to link the SG account.

What's the difference in fees / forex between CIMB and Maybank?

From what I gather in this thread, Maybank iSavvy can easily open online from My,
Whereas CIMB might be a bit tricky requiring proof of residence / work permit?

maybank isavvy need to maintain a minimum amount else will be charge fee, forgotten how many.
forex mean? MYR changing to SGD? it is following daily each bank's quote.

Maybank iSAvvy can only be opened through certai branch, check the pdf for these branches

CIMB fastsaver can be opened online, but u need to fund through CIMB MY / another own SG bank acc.
