Hi all,
Did anyone of you from Penang upgraded to 4MB recently? I was wondering whether the statement "no more 4MB port" is still valid or not as claimed by TMNet staff. Thanks. |

Simple
You can ask TM100 to set. Sometimes they may switch your port to 5mbps , which may cause it to be interleaved. If you dont care about latency , then dont bother. If you're on FAST path currently , and if you play games stick with your 4Mbps. When you complain and ask them to move on , there is a risk involved there |

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Jul 27 2010, 05:32 PM) Actually this is how its done , again if you dont care about your data path. For some people its important , and if you're lucky it will be the same or improvedJust e-mail them ask them to cap at 5Mbps. The reason why is that your local speeds are slow. dont bring in international story. Then they will certianly cap at 5Mbps Just say you dont want 5Mbps , its just that you want to truly enjoy 4Mbps speed especially for local links Be polite and wait |
