Dude, my machine had 4 cases of parts replacements in 4 months, since I bought it 4 months ago. Clearly something was wrong.

Lets see whether it gets approved or not first. Although, I do expect the price to maybe jumps to 1.5k. I dunno, we'll see..

I got mine this noon, quite fast their delivery. How much did up pay for urs ? I didn't manage to try fitting it to my M15x as I didn't bring it to work today just only when I arrive home I only manage to test it. Fits perfectly, I kinda wonder how they manage to put in a M15x and M17x is it by using sleeve ? Now I dare to bring out the M15x coz the previous bag I use for the G73JH is not big enough for the M15x.

I think it can fit M17x but not sure if can fit both M17x and M15x inside. I tought u might be getting discounts since u got the M17x as well. I think mine arrive around 12pm. Quality is quite good bigger than what I expected.

this is the problem when financial budget for publicity > financial budget for R&D

yes, logically the output you get in real gaming will be definitely better for single GPU from dual GPU, since optimization for dual GPU is not reaching a level of GTX280M x 2, for example.

for still who don't understand the concept (example only):
FPS for single GTX280M @ all high for Shift : 50FPS.
FPS for Dual GTX280M @ same setting for same game =/= 100FPS. just barely 60+.

don't believe benchmark result too much. its not same in the real gaming experience.

M15x mobo just can't detect GTX280M even bios is updated. been tried by our Alienware mate previously.

the best you can do is to upgrade to HD5870, just like Julchin_09 did

its ATi HD 5870.

around 1.5k from eBay/Amazon if imma not mistaken. but note that quite a hassle to upgrade a GPU especially if this is your first time.
