This is just my 2cent about the range of oil that we use for our car....when i was reading it on the internet... The lower value indicate the viscosity of the oil during cold and higher value is viscosity during high temperature...reason why they use for example 0W30...is during cold country, during cold start to protect the parts or when using a brand new engine where the piston are still virgin...so its tighter... But as tear and wear begin pistons gets looser and thats when the mechanic will recommend 10/15W30 oils...this is regardless any brand there are...
Just my opinion...do correct me if my info is wrong... |

QUOTE(carrera_gt @ Dec 8 2013, 10:45 PM) Maybe.. Today i went jusco and nearly service my car with eneos molybdenum that came with package that i think is quite affordable as cost only 115 but ended up they have too many car to work with and need to wait a long time then i just go home haha... But i saw some reviews that the eneos semi used around 5000km will start become noisy as am used eneos 2 years ago for a 3 to 4 times service (but 20-50 la), when it came nearly the time to change EO it really will bcome very noisy and sluggish like the car was pulling a lorry zzzz |
