most premium EO sell in 1L bottle, so if you don't use up all the contents, you won't keep too much leftovers in unsealed condition which *may* degrade the EO's performance.

That, and it's easier to sell/can sell more premium price using 1L bottles sad.gif

SR/TR etc are not "sub brands", more like "models" of their lineup.
if you want to go full synthetic for daily use, SR-1 is more than enough. TR-5 is their semi-synthetic (nothing to shout about to be honest)

so if you want to give torco a try, go with SR-1 then.

SR4/5 = racing EO, and not really suitable for daily usage in the sense that they have less detergent and not that good for long OCI. unless of course you got money to spend to blow doing shorter OCI at much more expensive pricing.

Thanks for your great explanation. Learnt a lot from that.

Do you recommend any seller for Torco oils? If I am not mistaken, Elton don't sell Torco.

Hmmm...I get mixed feedback actually, some say use 10/40 cuz its better for your engine, but coming to the viscosity some say too thick for your engine. Some say 10/30 not good cuz it does not really take care of your car.

who says that??can i face to face with them??even Camry 2.4 use 5w30....wanna know about Subaru BRZ??0w20....nowadays even the big CC car use the 5w30, 10w30, 0w30, 0w20(hybrid mostly) and 5w20...

the point is, find the right engine oil...ORIGINAL, with higher VISCOSITY INDEX and FLASH POINT(find it on manufacturer website or brochure)....the higher those 2 value, the better the engine oil...

this is example of what i tell u:

see those Viscosity Index and Flash Point??

(i'm using this oil on my Saga BLM...0w30...16000km baru tukar eo lain... thumbup.gif

Urs is fully synthetic ma...Kelisa if use full syn wont be good cuz too light viscosity. If not Castrol, use LM ok ka? Or as like below Q8. But LM and Q8 quite exp rite? cuz I bought my Castrol mtec 95 buxx. Also if ure saying about flashpoint n viscosity, 10/40 seems higher compared to 15/40 except when the SuS is 100 f

You can use the mineral or the semi-syn.

kelisa wont be good if using fully syn??who told u that??kinda funny actually...

unless your engine is already got a problem like LEAKING, piston ring is wore, oil seal is leaking, than it will happen..again, that is not the oil factor...is the engine itself has to be repair...
