for chemistry, they will conduct in english
for most science courses, they will conduct in english in first year. ... half english in second year and and third year... dont remember since i was busy with thesis..

but no matter what language.... if no understanding in the subjects itself.. you still cant score.. so good luck... and the FST is most 'charming' and 'natural'

Actually it's not about scoring ; but why still conduct in BM when the technology and sciences are actually in English ? I'm just wondering about the quality of the studies if it's conducted in BM ; how would it apply to the students when everything is in english when they started researching and working ?

science is all about understanding.. language is not a barrier at all. if you dont understand a basic thing how you will able to progress.. just because you learn something in malay does not mean your quality will be lower compare to when you learn it in english.

all this language stuff is not a problem at all.. you still have to do your own notes, their notes will be in english. they just want you to understand what they are teaching.. infact most of our lecturers that like to give their lectures in malay are the one that won many awards. irony isnt it..

unless your english is so damn bad maybe you will have problem in future.. but if your language is as bad as mine (yup, i know my english suck) you still can survive and score.

So does that means taught in BM , notes in English , what about writing ? as in for examinations ?

that im not sure. but if the subject itself is taught in english, answer it in english. if in malay. then answer it in malay. depend on lecturers actually, ask them for more confirmation..

Is there any seniors here?

I have quite a few questions.
1: After orientation week,are we allowed to go back?Like according to schedule given to me,MMP ends at Saturday night and my perkuliahan starts at 13th july,so in between there are 3 days,so am I allowed to go back?
2: I got JPA SPM 9As 2009 sponsorship continuation,so anybody can tell me how does this offer goes on?Do they cover all the tuition fees?
3: Any senior here,can clarify whether my course is conducted in Eng or BM?
4: In my offer letter,it stated there my pendaftaran starts at 14.00,so should i get there at 2pm itself or earlier?
5: Anything that I have missed and should taken note of?

Hehe,sorry for posting these much questions.

Anybody care to clear my doubts?

Yes, its depend. Some of my friends they studied English textbook, but have to answer in BM.

How far is KLIA and LCCT Sepang from UKM? What kind of transportation is available from UKM to airport? Only taxi??

if you have car drive, around 20+ minutes can reach KLIA liao.

alternative beside taxi is..
UKM station(ktm) -> Nilai -> take bus go KLIA
UKM station(ktm) -> Bandar Tasik Selatan -> take ERL go KLIA
still UKM station(ktm) -> KL sentral -> SkyBus -> LCCT

by compare time, still drive / taxi the fastest.

Taxi approximately RM50-60 +-

The first option is the most tiring
