Hello guys,

I got UKM as well.

Course: Biotechnology with management (KS56)
Gender: M
Kolej: Pendeta Za'ba

Is there any seniors here?

I have quite a few questions.
1: After orientation week, are we allowed to go back?Like according to schedule given to me,MMP ends at Saturday night and my perkuliahan starts at 13th july,so in between there are 3 days,so am I allowed to go back?
2: I got JPA SPM 9As 2009 sponsorship continuation,so anybody can tell me how does this offer goes on?Do they cover all the tuition fees?
3: Any senior here, can clarify whether my course is conducted in Eng or BM?
4: In my offer letter,it stated there my pendaftaran starts at 14.00,so should i get there at 2pm itself or earlier?
5: Anything that I have missed and should taken note of?

Hehe, sorry for posting these much questions.

Anybody care to clear my doubts?

Thanks in advance and your help is appreciated.

1. Yes, you can go home within that time.

2. Yes, it covers all, it will be RM5000 per sem. You will get the sums after deduct with the fees (Paid automatically).

3. Can't comment bout that, I am not science student.

4. So late? In my time it started in the morning. But it is better to go earlier, just for any incase.

5. You might read the FAQ in the first post.  smile.gif

Lastly, wecome to UKM  brows.gif

Thank you for your input.

One more question, do we have to bring original documents during "pendaftaran"?

before 15 july to be exact. smile.gif

ok, ukm first class varies among faculty. but rumours that >3.5 or 3.67 or in between them. smile.gif
about the final exam result, you are bounded by the criterion that set by the lecturer, where some of them take consider into attendance, class participation, tutorials and assignment, presentation, mid-semester test and lastly main exam..

study in university the main different is you really need to study on your own, where lecturer is there to help you only. smile.gif if you were expecting they spoon feed you, then your result (you can imagine)
and some subject, the lecturer request you study some topic by yourself with extra reading from library or net.

lastly, the main different (at least for me) is, most of the time your will be work in group and have plenty time for you to do assignment (to train your time management? but if without properly plan, last minutes work = junk)

Yes, those are the one I am contemplating upon. There will be a lot of assignments, supplementary readings and presentations to do, aren't they?

So with all these works, where do you find time to involve in the college or extracurricular activities?

Do you mind to share how do you manage your time, if possible?
