i3 and i5 mainly different in clocks speed....

Well, can consider Acer 4741G, i5 450M + Nvidia 310M, 3 years@RM2299...
or those inspiron is also enough, similar spec.. just get i5 with 4GB ram should be plenty enough for your task...

What is Fingerprint magnet?? ...and also Aser?? What brand is that ...well, in terms of gaming performance, A42Jv is above 4745G ..as for screen quality, both are equally the same ...

RAM is the same for all the unit ..just how big is the size ..

Better go with Vostro, as we all know that Dell really good when comes to Business line laptops ..though not that much differs from Inspiron ..

Yup, either one can do, even the Inspiron 14R/15R can also do the jobs you want...

Seems like Vostro 3500 is a nice choice ...well, its under Business Laptops (in Dell) while Inspiron is under Home Laptops...

Acer . And how easy you can see fingerprints on glossy finish of A42JV? How many hours on battery you can get with this laptop? Thanx

can consider asus eee 1201n.. But it's considered a netbook if u dun mind.. Can still game cod2 on low settings from what I saw in YouTube
