True true, but the sigma 85 F1.4 price is quite far off from the CZ 85 F1.4 , its nearly double..

the big beercan is the 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6, not a constant aperture

the 70 210 is only a beercan

i comparing this 2 on the first page..
Minolta 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 (big beercan) = RM1000-1500
Sony 75-300mm F4.5-5.6 = RM450-550

there must be something special to make the price differ.. what's that?

8tvt, i'd say its the build quality, then the sharpness comparison... finally is the KM colors... which is punchier than the sony's

It has better minolta colours, or u call that classic colours... and the focusing is faster than the current 75-300...
Well, think about it, the Minolta is like an antique while the sony you could get it off the streets anytime.

mike, thats why u dont see the demand for the BBC unlike the BC, which its value comes into play in the form of constant aperture, weight and IQ
