No need to fake the sharpness and bokeh in PS. It just comes out like that. By the way your aunt owned that much of gears huh? yea...not many lens still so sharp at f1.4 Yea, relax la. ....hmmm?my aunt? nola my cousin. he got every L lens. crazy. QUOTE(hazril @ May 28 2010, 01:27 AM) something for us to wish this to come true.... Well might be expected that Sony would may float another series of 'dummy' model as A230/A330/A380 .... http://sonyalpharumors.com/sr5-at-least-6-...-next-3-months/ However I still put some expectation on their A7xx model |

ianho: New topic ah?
8tvt: DRO underexposes to save the highlights from being blown out, and brightens the shadows (and the noise in the shadows.) Mikeshashimi: That is exactly right, what DRO is, in the manual. In reality ISO1600 is just pumped from whatever base ISO your sensor uses. mastering89: Congratulations, enjoy! likito: I have - it's one of the lighter 300mm F2.8 lenses in the market at 2.3 kg and a closer 2 meter MFD than any other. soket: Sounds like gear stripping - remove your kit lens and try again - if there is no sound, then it's gear stripping. gizmo_pony: HSS needs to pulse the flash rapidly so it gets weak in bounce. zstan: Good moment, now crop it! |

Hi, I've decided to get a Beercan for my telephoto lens due to the recommendation from the users here.
Question, Should I insist on getting the 70-210mm f4? I have found someone selling a 70-210mm f3.5-4.5 ,is there a very big difference ? Ive read some review online but I think its best to ask what the real users think. To be honest I am just into DSLR but I think that I should go for a good lens straight away instead of keep on craving for an upgrade. |

Yesterday received 2 questions from fren in the gathering.
The question is very simple, they asked Question 1 : " How do u judge a photo that is a good shot ? " Question 2 : " The color tone of photo that u shot compare with what u can see from naked eye is look similar consider good shot ? " |

Get the 70-210 F4 rather than the new 70-210 F3.5-F4.5 IQ wasn't so good as the F4 or perhaps I should say that it shows the big differencesQuestion, Should I insist on getting the 70-210mm f4? " Q2 : Well it depends the current environment condition and also what you compose too, however color tone may have your own personal taste to blend on your picture, is not 100% need to be the same color tone as what you see from your naked eye because to defines a good color tone is base on how you want the color mood on your picture be to match your photo's for making an stunning look. Thanks for the answer. Btw, ppls will question back if they din touch on DSLR Example: Question 1 : For me, I did not see different compare between DSLR with correct setting vs normal digital cam. Maybe what u all claim good shot is just a very normal photo for me. Question 2: Not everybody can accept our taste ... I was spent around 30min on this topic during the gathering |

Errrmmmm... reading previous posts, is f1.4 the sharpest lens? E.g. 50mm f1.4?
Lol, I just checked my Maha PowerEx AA batteries. Started using on 10th March 2010 on my F58 and up to now, the battery is still going strong on the first charge!!!! This post has been edited by kmarc: May 28 2010, 10:40 AM |
