I think this shot is quite good.. I will prefer to crop it tighter..so can see d detail of its eyes n fur and mayb just get rid of the colour distraction at the backround. then the overall colour wiill very nice..

Nothing high tech la. Just snapped with 24mm at about 10-20cms away from the pwuhsee. Didn't bother to blast the flash to not frighten the black kitten behind.

Also, try to get to the same eye level to the cat instead of shooting top down. I was lying flat on the floor aka commando crawling style when I was taking the 2nd pwuhsee shot.

24L? ZOMG. Not high tech some more? What body? ISO?

Moo u can do better with ur 50mm or 70200...

iso, aperture and shutter ok..

but the WB..already fixed..5500K means 5500K...in a300..still can custom set a bit...eg. for sunny..still can +3 or -3...erm hope u get what i mean..dont really know how to put it in words.haha..the a300 more user friendly then correct la!

and the shooting mode..also all fixed..unlike a300..still can custom adjust even in vivid/potrait mode..very simple..the 450D wan adjust need go through quite a hassle... so when i wanted to shoot the skies...want make it a bit more saturated...need go through all those menus..under super hot sun some more..can't even see the LCD screen properly...very frustrating...@@

but i think u play 450D before i dun think i need to explain more..



conclusion: i won leave my a300 anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless really no choice.

ya...there is no custom WB in 450D, and the user friendly menu in alpha bring me in this family (i was once consider 450D and A350)

and the 450D is toooo small for my liking...


and the AF point...omg..if i want to set..i need to press one tiny button at the corner first..before i could manually set my AF point...

Good attempt but I was thinking you might want to change the orientation to portrait and use a lower aperture to get sharper image as I notice it's a tad soft there. I have something similar to yours taken years back to show how it'll look on portrait orientation though the composition might not look nice. Hope it helps.

Aperture : f1.4, ISO : 3200. 24L Mark II on my 5D2. Don't bother too much on gears first. Work out on compo

Yeap, sensor dirty and pic slightly noisy cause snapped using ancient body. Just uploaded that picture to demo the orientation. Will remove and reupload again later. No idea what insect is that on the tip of the flower.

ok will try change the orientation accordingly..
the flower i took all in the same level and very close to each others.. so just picked the outstanding one..
