planning to subscribe to maxis, starting practical in Muadzam Shah.
Completely new to any kind of wireless broadband (been leeching off university line for 4 years). Anything I should know? |

What I experienced is that, when I surf certain sites, e.g. blogspot, it totally does not load at all. I also experience problems with google map - couldn't load the maps at all as well.
Maxis staff adviced me to to this everytime before I connect: Goto Tools > Options > Network Choose Network type as WCDMA preferred - click apply Then goto registration mode - select manual search & register - then refresh. Wait for awhile and a list of detected network appears - select MY MAXIS and click register and you're good to go. After that, blogspot loads very fast as well as google map.

guys i am planning to get a wireless bb...can u all give me suggestion which bb provider is the best celcom,maxis,and etc....i am live at kuantan and studying at puncak alam,selangor...anybody can help me to decide my choice?
