QUOTE(sweeseng85 @ Apr 29 2014, 12:00 PM) Which device u get ? 21Mpbs USB or MIFI modem ? I told no tied up with contract ,cos I plan for use few mth only ! I saw the page show on maxis , 4g LTE plan free black color MIFI modem have 12 mth contract . After saw ur post I think all wireless broadband have tied with contract because free the MIFI modem . I think I have to use the u mobile only ! You can check the SIM only, I not sure if there's contract for SIM only plan Else go for Umobile which don't have contract , but you need to buy the modem.

Hmmm if you're confirm using for just a few months then U mobile maybe more suitable. Their broadband prices are: https://www.u.com.my/phone-deals/broadband-devicesBut if you're not certain and you may use it for a longer time then I would still recommend Maxis cause the line is better , haha

I've got a question here..
I'm a subscriber to MaxisWBB (8GB package, 4-4) and I have a speed problem.
I got their modem (ZTE MF65) which the speed only can go up to 2-3 mbps while if I use by friend's (4G USB dongle) can go up to 10mbps.
Besides that, my download speed keep stays at 0. Only a few moments it goes up to 10kbps ~ 30 kbps.
Is there a problem with my modem or ? There's connection bad speed.
*My area's Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
Thanks. Hehe.

You can topup the data quota though alternatively if you want to restore the speed until the next month quota is refreshed.

Hi guys,
Currently I have subscribed the Maxis Wireless Broadband RM48 package, the 1.5gb peak and 1.5gb off peak package.
Now I have tab and phone, I would like to buy a mobile hotspot device so that when i go out, i can access internet with my tab and phone.
So can I juz buy any mobile hotspot device and it'll be compatible? Or must I buy the Huawei device from Maxis only then it'll be compatible.

My problem including 1)intermittent issue during browsing or downloading, I don't know is it because of maxis line or the modem. 2) It always disconnect even there are 4G signal indicate on the modem and it won't auto reconnect back. You have to restart it every time when is disconnected. 3) Sometimes my devices could not detect the wifi as well and you have to restart the device again. I would suggest if you can better use fixed line. Is more stable. Anyway maxis lines are becoming bad to worse. Even my cell line always have voice quality issue and drop call. that zte mf93d is really suck... or maybe i can say, all zte is like that, im using that modem right now, same problem as you, disconnect and it wont auto connect back, i try with other telco, also when it disconnect... u wait forever to make it auto connect. but at least, when with celcom, clicking connect at modem page will re-connect the internet. maxis is worst, when disconnection happen, click connect will always get "failure"... no other option, need to restart. same with wifi, sometime wifi not detected and need to restart... maybe after hari raya i will consider new (huawei) lte modem...
