Insert sim to ipad..straight to speedtest app on ipad.. The result still the same like b4.. Does this my new sim also cap to 2mb? .. Arghh.. Tension already..

my house currently can only get on 20%++ signal using old huawei e220. Less than 1mbps. i.e. no youtube.
Can anybody recommend  reasonably price usb modem w/external antenna? is E367 is the best? Price range +/-150.

+ shud i use external antenna? which 1 is the best?

Just signed up for maxis RM68 package. The speed is really slow here =.=.  I'm feeling kinda regret for terminating my celcom broadband for this.... Will getting a better modem improve my speed? I'm using e173 they gave btw.

as ppl more saying maxis better than celcom (in fact it does since celcom not having hspa+ network yet, and maxis has more station than celcom), so you should have better surfing experience now even with e173. weird with reversed result.

maybe the time u online is too crowded (too many users suck into a same tower). changing to hspa+ modem can help use maxis hspa+ high speed network. but if still slow, should be congested issue, u need let it 'connect' to another tower with a help of external 3g directional antenna point to another tower site.

Yea i would like to know this as well cause MDMA can't use with mifi modems. Unless i'm doing it wrong.

I'm using an iPhone with a Hotlink account. May I know what's the difference between the mobile Internet (MI) and wireless broadband (WBB), other than the validity period and data cap? Both of these options can be accessed through *100# and I couldn't decide which to choose in order for me to use mobile data on my phone.

Is it just me or Maxis Prepaid Broadband in Negeri Sembilan is very slow, it's so hard to connect and even accessing web portal page. Or is my USB modem faulty?

I use 3G on my mobile phone and tether, it works just fine.

I'm really going to switch to other carrier if this problem persists.

I just tried using friend's U Mobile SIM with the USB modem, it works just fine.

After saw ur post I think all wireless broadband have tied with contract because free the MIFI modem .

I've got a question here..

I'm a subscriber to MaxisWBB (8GB package, 4-4) and I have a speed problem.

I got their modem (ZTE MF65) which the speed only can go up to 2-3 mbps while if I use by friend's (4G USB dongle) can go up to 10mbps.

Besides that, my download speed keep stays at 0. Only a few moments it goes up to 10kbps ~ 30 kbps.

Is there a problem with my modem or ?
There's connection bad speed.

*My area's Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
