hi guys. i just subscribed to lite plan without modem which is rm48/month. there are several questions i have in mind so hopefully you guys could enlighten me.

1. any recommended modem?
2. i forgot to ask this to the salesman but when is my 1st bill and how much will it be?

Recommended modem=Huawei E367
Affordable and good performance (28.8mbps)
Averagely 14mbps

As for first month, depends on your package as some agent will vaive activation

what do u mean by 'check broadband speed' ? if just wanna see the speed,just do speedtest.net maa tongue.gif


btw,if maxis,just buy their mobile internet for rm2 for an hour.and try the speed via downloading etc.just to check if there is any congestion at ur area.if okay,just take the corporate plan.

but i dont know either prepaid broadband is different from mobile internet.because the latter one is using different APN which is unet .anyone here can clarify more? smile.gif

Maxis dont care what APN. I have using Maxis SKMM with maxisbb APN. No preblemo.

Is it a good deal ?
But you need to return the modem if cancel within 12 months (as I was told)

Tested a Maxis Corporate WBB 1GB @ RM48 also unlimited speed after quota. .... BOOM slows down to 64kbps
