QUOTE(Whatever111 @ Jul 6 2012, 03:04 PM) Just signed up for maxis RM68 package. The speed is really slow here =.=. I'm feeling kinda regret for terminating my celcom broadband for this.... Will getting a better modem improve my speed? I'm using e173 they gave btw. u have 7 days free trial. how slow is slow ? Same modem same place celcom is faster ? Either u at small town or connect to slow tower.

E355 supports MDMA if your seller provide you with good batch, anyway, just a firmware update trick will work But MDMA support still buggy. Don't expect too much

I have Celcom and maxis
celcom is super responsive although the QoS is only 512kbps, whereas maxis QoS is 8640
for browsing celcom is tops
for downloading maxis is unlimited

When is the day I shall reload again? 3rd August or 4th August? Do I have to memorize the date myself? if i wanna cancel the plan, do i need to inform maxis at klcc? reload - can use eload.. any info about ur sim, u can goto http://www.hotlink.com.my/web/portal/broadbandbtw, u must connect ur sim together..

Er... excuse me..
Just wanna know...
Does maxis Pre-Set ur DNS (they set it at their level) or u can configure ur DNS by urself...
It seems like mine was pre-set at their side... Even if I set it to my own DNS, the ipconfig shows different one

You can set your own DNS under the APN profile portion in the Maxis Broadband software

Edited... Cannot... I use Mobile Partner... Changed under Tools > Options > Profile Management > Advanced... But everytime connect, Maxis automatically assigns new DNS (checked with ipconfigs)... The same thing happens when I use my Blackberry as modem... What is DASHBOARD? This post has been edited by d3v073d_50uL: Jul 11 2012, 01:33 PM

Hi everyone I'm using an iPhone with a Hotlink account. May I know what's the difference between the mobile Internet (MI) and wireless broadband (WBB), other than the validity period and data cap? Both of these options can be accessed through *100# and I couldn't decide which to choose in order for me to use mobile data on my phone. (I also posted this on the Maxis iPhone thread, thought I'd try posting it here as well)

Currently Surfmore plan is nice
