Most of the installers cleans the water tank as part of their package. Anyway mine did that for me. Lucky me. Else have to spend time up in the roof to clean them myself.

As you have mentioned, the space for the auto gate controller box is very tight. Why don't you have the wires routed out? Or else, in in future any maintenance on the auto gate is going to be difficult.

They actually added in the cost of washing ur tank inside the package d.

If ur tank is those black fibre or poly tank, make sure u b extra careful when washing it as u might accidentally damage the tank. If u r using a stainless steel tank, you wont have this problem.

Than have to removed the 2 main pipes at the PS head and move the filter out...fix back once they done.
If not, it will bit funny where the PS seat on.

Because they already charged into your bill...

Cost of clean up the tank depend on contractor. Some charge RM50 some are RM150, but quality is ensure...

I could not say for sure if I was charged additional for the water tank cleaning. Recalled that I have compared with the rest of other packages which charges additional for water tank cleaning. Mine looks quite reasonable. Anyway, I used up half of the water in the tank before they came to install the filter. So easier and quicker to clean that tank as there are lesser water in the tank.

[attachmentid=2566318][attachmentid=2566319]

[attachmentid=2566320]

He surprise on water pressure at my area, and when he first turn ON the water, the pipe break off from the connection...than only noticed it was 5 bar...
[attachmentid=2566321]

* It will be good to have better quality of pipe instead of PVC lol....look funny.
During the installation, also noticed that the main stopcock are KO, can't stop the water flow. vmad.gif , Hence go out and get another one to replace....

Can't be except we are talking different people off here. As this is what I get from him.
Are you getting the 8inch or 10inch? If not mistake only more than 10inch come with stainless steel head. My modal is "Perfect Steel 1042"

If you incoming water are high pressure (more than 4-5 bar), than some dirty water may still go through as it push out very fast.

Perfect Steel (PS) got several models. The body is either fibre or stainless steel while the head or valve can be either plastic or stainless steel. THe price difference between plastic head and stainless steel head is RM 250. The normal plastic head is actually good enough. However, if u wan to get THE BEST for your family like Jo_da48, u can upgrade it to a stainless steel head.

PS has good after sales service like what Jo_da48 has mentioned, PS OEM for other brands like alphamax, they are quite reputable in the market but not popular as they lack of advertising.

Sand filters are basically very durable and better than membrane filter. It is true that membrane filter has better filtration but if your water pressure is strong like Jo_da48, there is a high possibility that the membrane will burst, will cost u RM 400 to replace the membrane. A sand filter on the other hand will not spoil but filtration will b less effective.

THis is the model that Jo_da48 bought from me. You can view the spec as per attached file below

Just installed my sand filter. After washing my tank and flushing out all the dirt from the pipes, the next day from the kitchen tap, the water looks like got white powder. It cleared up after awhile. now no more. Any similar experience ah?

Possiable. For old house maybe worst if the pipe already rusty. Just let the water out few second on early mornign or after back from home.

I'll suggest use steel, the plastic head is not reliable. Speaking from experience from other brand.
