...but it's way out of our price range
It's probably going to cost 3* the price of the U2410. |

QUOTE(yimingwuzere @ Aug 5 2010, 01:00 PM) Finally, a 30" with OSD and customizable controls (if those leaked photos are indicative of what the 30" will be)However, despite all of us drooling over a 30" monitor, how feasible is it to use it in real life? Even a 24" 16:10 is slightly larger for me at less than 1m away from the screen. Couple that with a 30" 16:10 2560x1600 monitor, you will have to squint your eyes more (moving your body forward) and therefore causing you to lose sight of the whole monitor and therefore causing eye strains and injury. I say buy 2 27" instead if I really wanted the real estate. |

hey guys, i just got my dual U2311Hs hooked up and 1 is using a display port cable and 1 more using a DVI cable. there is a noticeable yellow tint on the one using the DVI cable compared to they one using the display port, is it because of the type of cable used or is the monitor faulty? both are set to standard with the same brightness and contrast settings.
EDIT : I have swapped the cables and the same monitor is showing the same disturbing yellow tint. I am going to send it back. This post has been edited by soyzabean: Aug 5 2010, 02:37 PM |

QUOTE(Mr.Lonely @ Aug 5 2010, 09:23 PM) None that would be within your reach.Only available laptop so far are either the Apple offerings, or you have to pay a huge sum for this one. http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=5583 HP Elitebook 8730/40W Pricing is definitely out of the common man's reach but if you googled for real life pictures, the image quality is nothing short of amazing! Maybe that might sway you to shell out the dough for one.. who knows? A cheaper option (what I am also trying to source now) would be to get a 2nd hand Thinkpad of the T4x/T60x series that comes with either 15" 1400x1050 or 15" 1600x1200 IPS panels, which IBM/Lenovo calls Flexview displays. HP calls theirs Dreamcolor displays. This post has been edited by [Top-Gun]: Aug 6 2010, 11:51 AM |
