Hi guys, im getting a second hand 330e year 2017 for 125k(IMO is a good deal) with 48k mileage only and full service record. Still got 2 years of warranty and the owner just changed 4 michelin PS4 tyres. Anything i need to watch out for?

Hi everyone. I have a question regarding the BMW Comprehensive Motor Insurance, which is offered to me by the AB SA, for my purchase of a new G20 320i. The cost is RM4580, after 55% NCD, which is much higher than what I calculated using online insurance aggregator calculators (which gave me around RM2.7k only).

Does the BMW Insurance memang have a much higher cost compared to 3rd parties? And if so, is it even worth it?

RM2.7k? No way. Unless you're getting a Japanese car. Most continental cars would cost around 7-8K +- depending on what's the coverage.

Mystery solved. My mistake, I missed out the windshield insurance in my earlier calculation. So everything makes sense now, all good

Now I just have to wait to get my damn keys

I'm having problems logging in to the BMW Driver's Guide app and the Loyalty+ app. But I can log in to the BMW Connected app just fine.

It's strange, it keeps saying account does not exist, but it clearly does since Connected app works well.

Has anybody faced the same issue?

I realized there's a lot of 2018 5 series selling for 180k range, just wondering why is it so? Seems like the RV of 5 series is down the drain.

M-Sport? Or Sport? The M-Sport steering is really nice. Free service is up to 5 years or 100k km, so still lots of warranty left. Generally no issues with the car, maybe you want to ask if the aux battery been replaced before or not (common), it is covered under warranty.

Make sure you get the charger from the owner as well.

No issues, there's a lot on the road right now. Common issue is aux battery dying but that's covered under warranty. Aux battery is NOT the hybrid drive battery. After sales service just set appointment via apps or online. No issues as its covered under 5 years unlimited warranty. Not sure if your pre-reg has free service included.

If it's a valvetronic system, shouldn't there be a button to turn on or off the valve for less noisy sound?

Definitely good deal. Some things to look out for:
1. Aux battery condition
2. Coolant leakage due to wear and tear parts
3. Brake discs are not scratched by the previous owner due to worn out pads
