QUOTE(smokey @ Feb 11 2017, 03:53 PM) want to know more about 118i lsd shift power to drive wheel. alow limited amount of slip a.k.a. imbalance. it dont cut power. left + right = 100%i got to know that 118i is using e-differential? whats the difference compared with conventional diff and lsd? whats the usual price i can get for a bmw certified pre-owned car? although ppl will say u lose them on wheel spin. is more fun becos got smokez e diff brake on wheel that over fast. function is similar, allow limited amount of slip. left + right may below 100% becos of brake. no smoke pure environmetal. QUOTE(taitianhin @ May 29 2017, 12:11 PM) get in car. close door.push start accessory (dont step brake). ok all dash are light up. step gas all the way for 5-10seconds. hold full gas while push start again. all lights off. stay full gas another 5-10 seconds. ok release gas. watch your fone time /wrist watch for 2 minit. got some noise going in car (ventilation i guess) now start car as usual. after warn up u can drive harder than usual. before reset a lot complain on up shift jerk. stopping to zero jerk. noob response. felt like lousy damage car. maybe this car was demo test drive unit where early tester pattern are saved inside. now can say improved up to 80% out of 100% my expectation |

QUOTE(richbottles @ Jun 6 2017, 03:50 PM) What car model is applicable? yes. my house f30The definition of "jerking" level is different for different drivers too. Anyway thanks for the info sharing, I do have un-smooth gear changing during speed between 20-50km/h(occasionally) I think this considered as jerking right? Does your method above applicable to f30 model? Thanks again. |

finally i figure out the relation of sport mode, s gear, dsc all kind of complex n remix untold by rtfm.
steering got filter. no wonder slow/lag half a second. s gear is independent from mode button. perform every step correctly before u off dsc. |
