The new Merc line is awesome. Sporty & very good looks! Unfortunately that's where the bug stops. BMW interior is getting a bit boring, but handling is always top notch!

Thats why my family still prefer me to get w205 instead of f30 330e....compare with my previous w204, w205 i feels nt as solid as bfore....

Same with me. My family is all for Merc, due it's new designs. As I am a person who appreciates handling more than good looks, my choice is the Bimer. I know I wild be soon be bored if the car does not perform to my expectations.

Hi.. i am planing to buy my 1st BMW & considering an e60 or e90 year 2010 to 2013. It is a good choice or not?

Currently i also own a continental car so i assume the maintenance of a BMW more a less would be the same. Is the e60 & E90 a reliable model?

doing throttle reset. hope it improve fc and less jerk

ok. it works. no jerk now from low speed and high speed.

will record f.c.

How and what does throttle reset does?

get in car. close door.
push start accessory (dont step brake).
ok all dash are light up. step gas all the way for 5-10seconds.
hold full gas while push start again. all lights off.
stay full gas another 5-10 seconds.
ok release gas. watch your fone time /wrist watch for 2 minit.
got some noise going in car (ventilation i guess)
now start car as usual. after warn up u can drive harder than usual.

before reset a lot complain on up shift jerk. stopping to zero jerk. noob response. felt like lousy damage car. maybe this car was demo test drive unit where early tester pattern are saved inside.
now can say improved up to 80% out of 100% my expectation

any of urs car consume enjin oil? mine level drop a bit on digital measure

recently, my e90 cannot "auto-up" the front windows (both side). any quick way to rectify it? auto-down is working fine though. thanks

The definition of "jerking" level is different for different drivers too.

Anyway thanks for the info sharing, I do have un-smooth gear changing during speed between 20-50km/h(occasionally)
I think this considered as jerking right?

I'm in the middle of replacing my E60 N53 engine. Damaged due to flood. My mechanic says gonna cost me around 30k to rebuild and get the car back to working condition.

Is the price reasonable? Anything else should i ask from my mechanic? Maybe a couple of months warranty?
