That is the resort I stayed last year for RM280/pax! for a 3D2N trip. Very simple room w/out TV...OK some calculation .. .I presumed u are staying 1nite only bcoa RM400/room?

Price per person:

1) Room =RM100
2) Ferry =RM60
3) Snorkelling =RM35
4) Meal = RM20 (Lunch & dinner)

So total per person is RM215....If u based on the package for quad sharing from this site Redang lang tengah price list, u can get it for RM189/pax only leh...If additional nite (3D2N only RM289-lah)....I still feel package is always cheaper compare to DIY

for the website read the notes below, RM40 surcharge per person per night for school holiday.....means per person RM369. and at that time i dun think there are anymore rooms available.....because the room i'm taking is the last room i can get.....

OK...u got ur point.. ...after ur trip probably u can list down the expenses on DIY excluding land trpt from KL for benchmarking...

my friend kena jelly fish on the arms and fire corals on the legs...now got scar dy she say must wear long sleeves and long pants to go snorkeling.....but won't the weight of the clothes pull us down?

very inconvenient if you wear long pants...very heavy.

What you need is the fin to protect your legs

snorkeling equipments includes the fin?

I tot fin is already banned in Redang due to its destructive nature to coral... anyway, Mask/lifejacket/fin are seperate items..If I'm not mistaken, each items RM10?

BTW, it is uncomfortable to use fin & it is not a must........just a joke probably wear pantyhose...

RM10/item/day...It is adviseable to buy a cheapo mask from KL ~RM10 in Tesco/carrefour & rent the lifejacket will do....cheaper option. But certain resorts offered cheaper rental & some offer discount too....

i already confirm going to perhentian on 10 june but it is only 3days 2 nights. what if i want to stay longer ? any walk in hotels/chalets ah?
cause my resort no more rooms so cannot extend..

Everybody is using fin in perhentian. It's very slow without fin.

Wah..normally where do the jellyfishs appear? Everywhere? or just in deep waters?

I suggest you booking first at the jetty. Once you transfered to the island, it is difficult to find a room, unless during none peak season.
