Yes ..same operator by Sejahtera Ferry . Its possible to arrange water taxi from Berjaya to Pasir Panjang to catch ferry at 11.00am..the fares RM40 per person ..minimum 2 pax. smile.gif ..Durations journey only 25 minutes

Hi..Michael..ohh yes..you have booked at Redang reef.. tongue.gif ..

Yes right..lots of resort were closed on Mid October ...Well the best time to visit Redang for this year only September till Mid Of October.. But Laguna and Berjaya will closed until 28th October..

November and December ..all resort are closed.. smile.gif

Merang Suria Resort among the cheapest...if i not mistaken,the rates around RM120 to RM180 per night..just 5-10 minutes to Merang jetty.. smile.gif

Perhentian Island will closed around Mid of October or End of October ....

The island will open on next year..starting from March until October...the best season to visit around May,June,July,August and September..My advise..please make reservation at least 5-6 month before you start traveling..secure the room...

Most of the package will include snorkeling trips as complimentary from the resort..if you dont want go the snorkeling trips..is ok..but if you take separate package boat and accommodation..its totally not worth of money..minimum room per night around RM120 and return ferry will cost you RM100.Most of meals quite pricey...because of Island.

26th October is end of season...Most of resort already closed..unless Laguna Redang Island Resort..last date is 28th October 2009..

Today weather in Kuala Terengganu ..fine,clear and hot...but during late afternoon and night..sometime rain about 10-20 minutes only....Sea Condition its good today..still can visit Lang Tengah Island... smile.gif

Normally Monsoon season will finish around End Of February or Mid of March...visibility of water just 50% or 60%..Its good timing to visit Redang on End of March or Early April..less people during this period .For this reason..resort will make promotion for Early Birds..to attract more people to visit Redang from 1st March till 31st March.

Just come back from Redang Island for Day trips...not too much people during this period..the weather is hot,blue sky and blue crystal water..During morning..from 9.00am to 1.00am...are advisable for snorkeling trips..still can visit Redang during this period.. smile.gif

12.00pm Arrive at Merang jetty and transfer to Kuala Terengganu Town

1.30pm Arrive KT ..Lunch..sightseeing at China Town,Pasar Payang,Bazar Warisan and Bukit Putri..lepak at McDonald..have TV there..(near KT Bus Terminal).For dinner..my advise please take its before you go to airport..because at KT Airport..quite limited meals and also pricey..

6.00pm Transfer to Airport

The earliest ferry depart at 7.00am from Kampong Jetty..its mean you need to check out around 6.00am...or 6.30am.. smile.gif

Early Birds Promotion ..start from 1st March until 31st March 2010...my recommend..best time to visit around end of March...26th March above..Advance booking need at least 2 month before...During that promotion..price around RM260 per person or RM300..per person..for Quad sharing..Recommend place to stay...Redang Reef or Redang Pelangi...budget resort..

From Hentian Putra Bus Terminal KL to Kuala Terengganu...by bus..fares RM40 per person per way..journey will take 7 hour..normally bus depart at 10.00pm and arrive 5.00am..next morning...

Fly with Airasia or Firefly..its also good..make advance booking..you can get cheaper fare..LCCT or Subang..direct to Sultan Mahmood Airport Kuala Terengganu...only 1 hour..my recommend to depart from KL..around 7.00am and reach here 8.00am...then you can catch ferry at 9.30am to Redang Island..on the same day.. smile.gif

For Diving package..If i not mistaken,there no promotion during Early Birds ( March ) at Redang..only for snorkeling . smile.gif

There no more Monsoon season during that period but sea condition little bit choppy ..my advise..End of March..would be good time to visit Redang Island ,Lang Tengah and Perhentian Island..

Long Beach or Pasir Panjang...You will get cheapest basic room...onlywith doublebed with mosquito net and small fan..rates around RM50-RM60 per night.. smile.gif
