Going to redang on Oct 2010. Wonder what the price will be for Laguna Resort for twin sharing since its the low season.

Glad to know Berjaya now giving free internet services...Well I was abit disapointed wth the way M'sian 3-5 stars hotels as most (Not All) charge for using Wifi!! This include Avillion in PD, Swiss Garden & other 3Stars hotels that I stayed. Comparing this to the no star rated & budget hotels/hostel overseas that I have stayed...Mostly free wifi & wth speed eceeding 4MBPS! ( i was shocked having a 4mbps speed in hanoi no star rated hotel!) 

Way back in 2001, I was abit dissapointed wth Berjaya Redang bcos of the small room & also the fact that i was there during the begining of monsoon! Nevertheless, the food there at that point of time probably the best hotel food I ever tasted    Not sure now? I'm abit kiamsiap on expensive food but during my time at Berjaya Redang, I'm just willing to spend bcos of their food.. ..Well probably also the fact that I can't go anywhere to get cheaper food

just want to ask how to go to pulau redang or perhentian by train, because my wife never ride train before..so im planning to go to redang or perhentian by train from kl and i got no idea what station to stop and from there how to continue to jetty.
so is it possible to go by train??

hi to all, im trying to get the tour package to redang 3d2n but i cant found any...most of the website is until 2009 only...the reason why i wan to buy the package now is because me and my fren going to redang on may20-22.we already book the flight. i scare if we wait untill matta fair which is on march we will be too late to book the room.

2. What is the best resort and what is the nice and affortable resort in redang?
  How much your budget.? RM300 or RM600 per person..much more easy to know..Low budget resort Redang Pelangi ,Redang Reef , Redang Bay

3. Anyone know which travel agency is good if i planning for a trip there?

Some news that i received from my contacts in Perhentian.
Monsoon this year somewhat less intense, some dive operators already start back the operations in Perhentian already.

Heard this coming April Perhentian hotspot like Bubu,Tunabay already full ...others is filling up too .....Arwana and etc ..what the rush about ??

Pricey a bit but worth it especially when they get me free upgrade room. Will try other peaceful and calm chalet along long beach sometime before puasa.

Any idea whether there is a dock / jetty available at Redang Reef just like Laguna? Or when arrive by boat we need jump to the sea and walk to the beach?

What is the best/budget way from KL travel to the Merang Jetty, as i know many package does not include the land transport from your place to the jetty, especially when there is only few people.

I plan to take twin sharing package for me and my gf to visit Redang during May or June, any resort/hotel recommend? I would like to avoid crowd if possible. My budget would be RM300 - RM400 per person.
