From Airport to Merang jetty..RM50 per taxi per way...its take 35 minutes only. From Merang jetty to Laguna its take 40 minutes.. smile.gif

End of October...resort already closed...my advise..please come before October..now resort have promotion for year end sale...example...Quad sharing..rates RM260 per person..will include 2 night accommodation,2 breakfast 2 lunch 1 dinner and 1 bbq ,return boat transfer from Merang jetty to Redang Island , 3 x snorkeling trips without equipments ,free Tea Break drink and free wifi internet broadband...almost the cheaper budget... smile.gif

July is super peak season at Perhentian Island..with your budget and criteria ..my recommend Arwana Perhentian Resort..

Catch the taxi to Kuala Besut jetty just RM78 per cab per way..its take 1 hour only..Based on your budget RM330 per person ..my recommend..Abdul Chalet ,Flora Beach Resort,New cocohuts..

For package 3 Day 2 Night Snorkeling trips will included...

My advise..Perhentian island would be best destinations for snorkeling trips...the lowest budget around RM330 per person will include 2 Night accommodation at garden view, 2 Breakfast 2 Lunch 1 Dinner and 1 BBQ..Return boat transfer from Kuala Besut jetty to Perhentian Island..2 x snorkeling trips with equipment..with your budget..can spend at least 5 day at Perhentian Island..

Hari Raya will celebrate on September..during Puasa..Ramadhan..maybe less muslim people will visiting Perhentian Island or other islands.Its not crowded during that period..August..my advise please make advanced booking ..for secure..

Lots problem with economics depression ...H1N1..less people visiting Perhentian ..compare last year

The bus is return..not one way ( KL - KT - KL )...they charge RM130 with reasonable price..as 5 Star Resort..Since they provide the night buses services ,never heard any bad comment about safety..Durations traveling takes 8 hour..compare flight just 45 minutes..its depends your budget now.. smile.gif

Yes...there have direct bus from Penang to Kuala Terengganu...by SP Bumi Bus ekpress and Shamisha Holiday Bus..the fares RM44 per person per way...durations journey will take 8-9 hour.

The best time to snorkeling at Turtle Point around 9.30am to 12.00noon...nice weather and its breakfast time for turtle to eat sea grass smile.gif

Nope..you need to ask diver for the best spot...Redang reef resort have small beach...at 7.00am..its best time to snorkeling there..to see shark and turtle..At other places..its shark point at Front Redang Lagoon smile.gif
