I prefer less crowd and more relaxing condition.

Yeah, family with children will not face any problem there. It's not really that budget place. You can choose either fan or air con room. It is clean and safe of course. I guess there are only about 20 rooms at Abdul. Abdul runs by own family member while Tuna Bay hires their own workers. Tuna Bay has wifi too but I'm not sure whether that's free or not.

Just back from pulau perhentian.
I stayed at Abdul Chalet. It's just beside Tuna Bay. I think it's cheaper too but probably fully booked as well.

I don't think there is underwater camera renting at pulau perhentian.
just disposal camera which cost RM40 but has no quality.
one resort (forget the name) in redang offer renting. just check through this thread. someone posted that before.

i'm thinking of going to perhentian island in july or august. but i heard it's not so good this time of the year because monsoon season is coming in september so the waves will be big and there will not be many fishes. is it true?

i'm looking for a budget snorkelling package below RM350 per person (for two person). is there any resort you guys can recommend? i was surfing and i found this samudera chalet and everfresh chalet but from the pictures it seems like their cheapest room (about RM 300 per person for two person) is very dirty. does anyone stayed there before?

Is there actually any service provided to take picture for you underwater or during snokerling? or is there say, underwater disposable camera on sale at Redang? How much do they normally cost?

i love redang beach resort. i'll definately stay there again, if i'm going to redang
the food was ok. the room was fine with me.

all the staff are really friendly. at nite they have live band and open disco, quite happening place.
i would definately recommend this place

i just coming back from a trip to pulau perhentian besar, i stay at abdul chalet for 3D2N, i would like to thank to jeffri for helping me with booking and so on, sorry we can't meet, i will tell my friends about pulau perhentian. i have a great time there.

Both Island have some unique places to visit..but its worth to visit...I cannot say..Redang is better then perhentian..
