I'm here for the past 3 days...leaving tomolo noon. It's fantastic...completed my Open Water certication liao! woot! but had to cancel the last dive...cos my sinus acting up. but all was awesome!

saw a turtle, stingrays and a nurse shark. and butt loads of fishies! you ppl MUST take the scuba diving course....

So I heard we can walk to the jetty that takes us to Redang Island from the bus station, correct?

How about coming back? Is there any cheap transport that can take us from the jetty to the airport?

I plan to go redang this coming July (during off peak session). I still not sure which of the following resort suit me better:

1. Redang Holiday Beach Villa
2. Redang Beach Resort (most expensive among 3)
3. Redang Reef Resort

Previosuly, I have used to stay in Redang Beach Resort (4 times), just that recently (2007), it become more and more commercial.

I was thinking of changing resort to either Redang Holiday Beach Villa or Redang Reef Resort. I am looking for something that less commercial and more relaxing. For those who been there, which one has better food serving, staff hospitallity and nicer & cleaniness room between Redang Holiday Beach Villa and Redang Reef Resort.

Need help urgently...
i'm going to redang on 8,9,10 of May...
n i want to stay at Laguna..
already make d reservation but they want me to bank in d full amount which is 1000++  tomorrow..
but i dun want to do dat... i prefer go there n put d money....
is there anyone can help me or give me  a very good suggestion..?

Thanks for your quick respond. Will start considering the Redang Reef Resort for my coming July trip. By the way, what's your view on Redang Beach Resort? I know that Redang Beach is more expensive than Redang Reef Resort, other than that if compare with Redang Reef Resort?

The weather was superb and my skin became darker..haha...Stay at Redang Reef..not bad...I like the surrounding and the food is ala chinese cooking..The only cons is just that during snorkelling they use fisherman boat as compare with others.

im a student in one of the local uni...nex sem will b our last semester..so we plan to go for a holiday;preferably island. so we have to come out with a proposal by July. for nw, we're interested in Pulau Perhentian Kecil..

so, since we're going in large num of groups...i think its better if take chalet there instead of hotel rooms...

so can u guys pm me details for any chalet that can give me a realy2  good price..we dun need so extravaganza chalet..normal one oso ok...as long comfortable...n pacages lk for snoorkeling or wat so ever...best price laaa.....our trip mite be in July......3days 2 nites...

I do agree that fins are stupid for snorkeling. You don't want to be traveling fast when snorkeling rite? plus they do quite abit of damage to the corals. Say no to fins.

Do they sell kites at the kuala besut jetty? thinking of getting one there since it's a hassle to bring mine from home (flying there). Been quite awhile since i've played with kites on the beach. Wind should be right for kite flying.

I'm planning a 4D3N to Lang Tengah from 30th May to 2nd June. In a previous post I noticed there are night snorkeling trips. Does all resorts in Lang Tengah offers night snorkeling?

hello all,
is the berjaya spa resort still under renovation? cause i'll be going there next thursday.  hopefully they upgrade me to beach resort also. 

anyway, i wanna ask which jetty is it if we wanna go to berjaya spa? already book the hotel thru BVC, is the ferry fee included?
and if anyone knows, how much is it per dive at berjaya beach? and the rental for diving equipments as well.

im staying at redang reef..life jacket and mask only?? i dunno how to swim..did there have trainer or trainee tat teach us??

Honestly for a quite and safe place Lang Tengah is recomended.

Redang is tooooooo crowded

I am looking for a twin budget travel. After some search, I don't know which one should i go for.. so I am wondering is there any personal opinion regarding resort below?

- Redang Pelangi Resort ..not all room facing to seaview.the price also reasonable
- Redang Reef Resort..all room facing to seaview,value of money,more to privacy..
- Redang Holiday Beach Villa..have open disco until 12 midnight..some room facing to sea view..

Please..give me some opinion on the resorts above, so that I can decide soon enough.

I am going to Laguna this 11th May and I already bought my Transnasional ticket to Kuala Terengganu 11pm-6am reach there.

I also bought bus ticket from travel agency from Kuala Terengganu to Idunnowatname the jetty.

I do some research here and I found out Transnasional got offer package straight to the Laguna jetty.I am confuse
