Redang Island among the beautifiul islands in East Coast of Malaysia .The best place for snorkeling and Diving.
Pulau Perhentian is most cheapest budget in Terengganu ,for chalet its cost RM80 less than for per night ( seaview )..sometime can you rent RM50.00 by walk in if you lucky.Good for snorkeling and diving.Located at Besut Terengganu

Tenggol island the best place for snorkeling and diving.Ranking Number 1 for dive site..in East Coast of Malaysia.Located at Dungun ,Terengganu.

Sipadan and Mabul also the best diving site...world class.Located at Semporna ,Sabah .

i am proudly to be Malaysian because the islands surrounding malaysia is best in world ,good quality and value of money. smile.gif

What you should do now is...

1. Start to make booking..Resort at Perhentian Island.

2.Confirm already the resort..buy bus ticket at Hentian Putra Bas Terminal ...recommended Mutiara Bus to Jerteh or direct to(Kuala Besut Jetty ) for return ticket.

3.Package 3 Day 2 Night Include Acommodation + Snorkeling trip to Rawa Island or Susu Dara Island.
2 Breakfast 2 Lunch 2 Dinner
Return Ticket Speed Boat to Perhentian island

Have a nice holiday..

Now doing research on the hotel part, i'm now at Jb.. so i'm planning to go there by car
And then there is my friends in KL and Ipoh . Which type of transport or route is easier for them. Is it by car or do Airasia going there?
Can i still booking the hotel 2 weeks before deepavali.. i scared it would be fully booked.

Car Parking at Kuala Besut Jetty is RM7.00 per day.If you driving, you just direct to Kuala Besut Jetty, its take 8 hour (KL to Kuala Besut )About Ipoh i dont't know which route. Please refer to Google Map for route from Ipoh to Kuala Besut jetty.

KL>Bentong>Kuala Lipis>Gua Musang>Kuala Krai>Machang>Jerteh>Kuala Besut Jetty.

But if you choose flight..KL to KB airport ,the fares around RM200.00 or less then that depends on advanced booking. From airport to Kuala Besut jetty will cost RM70.00 per taxi .The journey will be 45 minute.

You can still make a booking now because its ends of season .Resort will closed due monsoon season from November until February next year.

hope its give you some information about you journey..glad to help you..

me too planning to go for a snorkeling trip to either redang/perhentian/lang tengah end of this month...

which is the best place for snorkeling among those three mentioned place?

is it advisable for a person who don't know how to swim to go for snorkeling?

p.s: which place is better for snorkeling during this month? east coast or malacca straits?
