Samurai, my family plan to go either redang or perhentian,but we dun have opinion to choose among them. Firstly, we plan to get AA to kota bahru airport....it is cheaper compare to drop at KT airport. If go Kota bahru airport, we onli able to go perhentian island.

But, as i am 1st time to go there..do u suggest we go which island ?
we also want to get 3d2n. if perhentian, any recommend?and redang?

Both island is nice and good..for snorkeling..

Berjaya Redang and Laguna Redang among the expensive rates among resort at Redang island.Example 3D2N : Berjaya =RM599 per person ,Laguna =RM550.Its worth to stay there..5 Star!!

For budget i can recommended you to stay at Redang Reef..3D2N Snorkeling package around RM288 .RM340 and RM380 per person. and Redang Bay.

redang package is for wut resort 1?
and perhentian nid take so long time to go jetty?
perhentian island u onli have new coconut chalet?have tuna bay?
besides that, redang island have pakage for 3 island or not?(redang,lang tengah,perhentian)...

i saw most review said that redang beach vry good...

All the package is not include transportation.

Samurai, Is there any bus service from Airport to Kuala Besut instead of Taxi ..budget traveller to Perhentian nxt Jul'09

Nope..there no bus services direct from Kota Bharu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty.If you want to go by public bus,you have to wait outside airport..Public Bus Stand.The bus will going to Kota Bharu city and you have change other bus go Kuala Besut.Total fare one way should be less RM15 only.

If you want direct from Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty,some resort have shuttle services van..the fare around RM30 per way per person.You can ask travel agent to arrange the pick up.

Yah but that wil be more expensive than taking a taxi to Kuala Besut for 3 .This time round, I'm not taking any package tour as what I did in the past but to take only the Chalet style stay..i was thinking of mama Place, Watercolour or even Abdul. Heard lotsa bad review of Coral View so probably that will be in my blacklist...but that hotel has one of the best beach in Perhentian + perhentian Island Resort

The fare by taxi..if i not mistaken about RM70.00 per taxi..you come with 3 person..About RM23.50 sen per person...save your time to Kuala Besut.


Mama's and Abdul chalet ..is the right choice.

Ya-loh,,no choice i think this is the best option.tnx BTW, I called Mama place this Morning...the guy is abit LCLY when I raised my concern as the internet pricing is only RM80/room/nite for seview chalet but he quoted RM180..sumore saying he is not taking any order as the reort is close & ask me to call bck in Feb nxt year...haizzz.. I thought mama place got lotsa good review

i am able to get Berjaya Redang per room rm 300. Not per person. Anyone interested? Anyday is also one flat rate. I have friends who goes through me as well and loved Berjaya vacations. I think Berjaya resorts generally are the best in Malaysia.

from KB airport, take a bus to kota bharu then take a taxi to kuala besut...faster and cheaper that way i think...
last time i check taxi fare in kota bharu is pretty cheap.

berjaya so expensive, and the plane damn lousy and noisy... i flight this april to pulau tioman with berjaya...once landing i vomited jor....

you can try to stay at Long Beach...quite cheaper rates they offer .example 3 Day 2 Night Snorkeling package just RM350 or less than that..

But i must say that Berjaya is very nice. Berjaya Tioman is nice too. The beach @ Redang is beautiful !!! ... go look up on pics..

do you have any suggestion for holiday in November? i prefer go to the beach. i want budget hotel too.
