seem like you are the only one having a smooth game play.. Right click on the war3.exe, there is an option to choose which gfx to use.

i try playing PES2010, it comes out such warning: GPU RAM insufficient VRAM 128MB........... zzzzzzzz how to make it work?

hmmmm i have issues with the gpu i think, whenever the screen went off (not hibernate/sleep, just off) and i hit a key to reactivate it, it'll take quite a while for me to regain control of the win 7. i cant minimize, i cant use the program currently running (chrome for eg.), i just have to wait till it finished processing, sometimes taking 5 minutes or so... anyone facing the same problem?

n it was fine without doing this, the words was there in game when i first bought the notebook...

n then, after my notebook crashed when updating to 258.96, whn i revert back to older driver, the word optimus gone.

Then try clean install back the old driver?
The driver should be inside eSupport folder in C:\

and see which bios version you are using? Latest on Asus web is 207...
and for the nvidia driver, seems like can install 257.41

cpu, if you don't mind voiding the warranty and got way to get the cpu....

ram and hdd is user replaceable, so normally don't void the warranty...

since some of us dont need the extra stuff, can we get it for a cheaper price?

A42Jv normally only with bag, no mouse + free gift which useless most of the time..., for other model, they got mouse...
usually can get without freegift and get some price reduction...
As for the bag, its from Asus, don't think can get without it...
