when i running warcraft 3, the mouse is little hard to move, not as smooth as desired :@ i doubt the benchmark for this 310m is better than a 8600GT?

any one can settle my problem ?

Try go to the nvidia control panel, under 3d settings, set the warcraft 3 to use intel gpu....
8600GT still better....

check ur settings?
i'm using 310M and there's no problem at all running warcraft3....very smooth...

does this a52j mobo support dual channel if we put ram on both slots?

and how much for 2gig 1333 ram? and how much for 2gig 1066 ram?
as i know for 4gig 1333 sodimm is rm400++planning to put 4gig+4gig later..

but for now enough to proceed with 2gig+2gig
does 1066 and 1333 makes such differences? or just minor performance tweaks//

i3/i5 only can use 1066MHz, even if you put in 1333MHz, it will downclock to 1066Mhz speed, since for now, only the i7 Quad core run@1333MHz.....

Hello guys , i am also a A42Jv user , bought this lovely lappie 2 weeks ago .

recently i have an issue when i switch to High Performance with power4gear , the booster meter keep showing at 2.67 Ghz , is that normal ?

What should i do ?

I can see processes at the task manager but how do i know which is causing the high cpu usage ?

Btw , i only see the booster showing max but in Task Manager i see only 25-35% usage ..

The booster shows normal only when i change to Quiet office and Battery saving mode ....

whn u use high performance road, did u c the setting?

iianm, hi performance mode set the min proc state to 100%..

try lower down ur min proc state, n i guess it will b alrite...

there is a joke on my laptop, the integrated graphics having a smoother gameplay than the 310m in warcraft..... i was like @.@? when i found out this!

Seems like the dota/warcraft 3 is lagging with optimus is common problem...

can i still download if i close the top of the laptop? because if i do it goes to hibernate right?

change the power management, choose do nothing when close lid...
also change the "put computer to sleep" to never..

duno why , intel g card can play dota with smooth
even the gun bound also can play with smooth , but after change to nvidia ,will become .........

^ Can try to play those games with nvidia and in fullscreen and windowed? and also check whether nvidia is on or not when in fullscreen and windowed...

i play dota smooth...but how i know it's using gfx card or built in graphics?
when i check my nvidia panel, warcraft.exe is inside the list....means by default sure use graphics card?

Use the Optimus tool to show overlay word "Optimus".
When nvidia is ON, it will show "Optimus" word on the upper screen on the game...
