I take out the battery whenever I'm not using it for over a day. Even if tomorrow I'm shooting, I will take out tonight and 2moro will put back. Already my habit =X

Today went to my mum's friend's chinese style wedding, I was the only one with dslr so they put high hopes on me. What I shot was the part where the bride makeup and photoshoot with family/friends, then the bridegroom came and meet the bride (and the games etc)
But I am quite disappointed at myself because the WB are out (orange wall, autoWB in Jpeg Or am I pixel peeper? T___T |

It wasn't a wedding dinner (not in hotel), it's the ceremony at home which the newly weds serve tea to their parents and take photos etc... And yea they didn't hire any pro photographer, the best camera there was my D90 and 2nd one was a sony PNS.
Actually the photos are okay but not up to my expectation, especially WB and the sharpness, how could I OOF when they pose nicely for me to shoot >.< |

Okay here you go... Just one first.
![]() I will remove this later cuz these are personal photos (without their permission) so just for viewing purpose. I didn't have any creative shot as you know, I have zero experience =X Mostly shots like this >.< |

Dun wan post them here because are personal photos (and the photos framing are bad >.<) . need more practice!!!!Doesn't look like a problem to me though from your pic you've posted. Guys I started using Adobe 1998 color space in my D90 because I heard it has more color gamut etc, better for post processing and printing. But I need to set profile in my Photoshop and when saving need to convert to sRGB so that can display properly in web?
Not very clear about that... Anyone can enlighten me please? |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 4 2010, 09:10 PM) ^ yeap. There's a convertor from f-mount to the canon mount. 14-24 is one reason why these mounts existed. Could that be one of the reasons why some nikonians jumped to canon, since they can use our dark lord's |

Last time when canon mugs were released at first no local seller, all ordered overseas and it was expensive. Now someone's selling at garagesales for just RM50.
So we should wait for someone to do the bulk... Cuz none of us know where to get the stock with cheap price too. I hope someone can get for us ^^ the 2470 is so cool and looks so real! |

QUOTE(umiseaz @ Jun 5 2010, 09:17 AM) file at this size is sharp ~.~ (332 x 500) Hmm judging from the bigger pic I can see very obvious motior blur/handshake... Did you mount your camera on a tripod when shooting this? or you just use higher ISO and lower speed?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « but at this size is not !!! (498 x 750) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Question : can edit my original size pic to more sharpen using lightroom ? instead of resize the image ? I suggest you use a tripod and use slow shutter, most of the time won't be getting blur pics. If serious motion blur you sharpen also can't save. For sharpening I use photoshop, Filter> sharpen > unsharp mask > around 23~25 |
