Yes provided you are good at controlling the flash so that it will not be too harsh and yet not underexposed. You still need a fast lens though =D

No lah, strobist isn't really important in your range of photography. I need lah cuz i shoot more close ups (not macro) like figures. 50mm f1.8 will be my next haul =S
BTW i m going to get my bagman L size slingbag this week... Can't get 7MDH, too expensive |

QUOTE(celciuz @ May 6 2010, 08:21 PM) Gah, just now arrived home thinking my Danbo arrived together, mana tau only see my credit card bill waiting for me lol try not to buy everything with credit card, you will suffer later XDCan't wait to try shooting with a toy hehe. Danbo is cute but the quality not that good, the surface can scratches easily (definitely will scratch even though u take very good care of it)... If scratched and if you use direct flash towards its face, the scratches are very visible... Good luck =D |

But portrait is a different story lol. Cuz shooting danbo is at close range, flash can be bounced easily and get good exposure. but portrait is different
And danbo is not moving and will keep staring at you if you want! |

QUOTE(booby @ May 8 2010, 10:02 PM) is there a way to take pics not so blur besides using a tripod when snapping pics at a very slow shutter speed. want to take pics of food but shake abit, dam blur ady >.< Use flash. Get a flashgun, bounce ceiling or wall and you can use faster shutter speed. Use low shutter for food is not a good idea IMO... |

QUOTE(naimadam @ May 9 2010, 11:37 PM) Good enough, i am using for over a year. If you upgrade firmware lagi good, can be triggered via radio trigger. The control is easy and it's flash power is higher than sb600. Build quality is ok, i turn it very vigorously but never spoils. But the TTL not that accurate, i most of the time using manual mode.If compared with sb600: -cheaper, rm420 can get -cheap plastic mount -big flash head -more plasticky -higher power -no LCD -only 3 buttons easy to control (mode, power on/off, test flash) -AF assist light not accurate -build in bounce card guys i gtg for sleep. I should be enjoying semester break but now im working to fill back the hole in my bank account when i bought my D90 Cya |

QUOTE(freddy manson @ May 10 2010, 07:28 AM) ha ha few pics i deliberately do that coz i found someone using my pics.. What is NES?resize/crop and make it their own.. my pics not that nice but i dah kena d.. so this is more likely challenging her to do the same with that pic he he he anyway, NES is tomorrow.. wait for announcements.. QUOTE(maui303q @ May 10 2010, 03:55 PM) Yeah, kinda regret now.. cos the fabric NIKON ones is not tat tough.. the camera sinks down to the bottom of the bag so when carry can see the buldge at the bottom of the bag, guess i'll have to find a more solid bag cos i tend to chuck my stuffs around I just bought myself a bagman L size, quite large but it suits me who likes to put everything in my bag. Very good padding but i got myself a black one, even the padding are black. Difficult to find my items lol |

QUOTE(noobie1 @ May 10 2010, 10:25 PM) Kata i mainly use when i travel from my hostel to house (need to put laptop together) or when i go for a longer journey instead of one day photoshoot. kata is too big for normal outing lah... If travel i use kata. But my kata is DR467, not DR467i, the middle part that separates the camera compartment and the top compartment cannot be unzipped, so it cannot be a normal bagpack. The new 467i has a strap to hold tripod, pretty good. but it's more expensive lor, i bought mine RM320, 467i is around 400+- >.< |
