Colour not too sure, I am very positive there'll be white and silver. Hope got hyper metallic as well.QUOTE(lelynx @ Dec 6 2011, 02:17 PM)
Traction control? Tipu punya or the real thing like F1 cars? ESP got lah, and the 1.8 variant got VSM as well, improved version of ESP where it also sense your steering angle.

CVT not necessary can only shift via gear knob...
Sonata also CVT but there is paddle shift for other market..
Only in bolehland it is drop out..
A bro, DIY the paddle shift to his sonata 2.0
Sonata not CVT... 6 cog gearbox. Paddle shift can be added, I know someone who does it so siapa mau, kasi saya tahu. Sonata also CVT but there is paddle shift for other market..

Back to Elantra :
Good news for clutch players is that there is a Manual Transmission for the 1.6 Standard and it is only missing 2 feature compared to the 1.6 AT Standard. 1.6 Standard extra auto light control and Smart Key.
Manual don't know is 5 or 6 speed yet. All AT are 6 speed with semi-auto functions. 1.8 Premium spec has auto cruise.
1.6 AT High Spec and 1.8 Premium spec has ESP with VSM function. Vehicle Stability Management is improved ESP where it also sense your steering angle and make proper adjustment to prevent skidding and fishtailing.
Smart key is missing on the 1.6 Manual.
Sporty aluminium foot pedal is available on the 1.6 AT High Spec and 1.8 Premium.
All specs has electrical heated outside mirrors which I assume is side mirrors and are power retractable. Escort light function(where the light stays on for 30 second after ignition is off) is standard on all spec as well.
1.8 stands out more above the others because of some very subtle changes to the interior. Sliding centerconsole, ECM mirrors(the one that dims when people highbeam you from behind). The sunroof is a more conventional single pane sunroof,so for those who's afraid of broken roof, feel safe now, for those who wants a black top, time to visit the paint shop.
The final big feature to be seen first time on Malaysia's Hyundai is dual zone automatic air conditioner, where you have independent control between passenger and driver side. How the automatic system works is still beyond my reach, but I think it is related to fan speed and temperature, it also has a auto defogger that sense whether your windscreen is foggy and adjust defogger vents to well, defog.
By the way, don't be confused with CVVT and CVT. CVVT is Continous Variable Valve Timing, and CVT is Continous Variable Transmission, they're both not related to each other, one is gearbox, one is engine valve.
It is not convenient for me to share the photo for few reasons :
- NDA
- It's a Korean LHD.
but the interior is said to be 90% similar to oversea cars, interior wise don't expect Sonata's class of luxury, because we're so used to calling it Mini-Sonata we'd expect the same comfort level, if you do you'll say the comfort level is off par, seating wise it's better than the Civic, and the meter clusters is as nice as the Sonata. Biggest draw is the center fascia, very futuristic looking and ergonomically well designed.
