I brought VZTEC USB hub near sri murni cost RM13 , black in colour and square shape come along with one short cable~~ currrently use up to 3 port for CM cooler, keyboard and mouse ~~ no problem at all~ all function well~~ If u scare not enough power one, u can always buy USB with adapter, but that will cost more ~~ so far the three i plug in wont use so much power, except u want to plug in another external HDD, that will different story ~~ if want plug in external HDD~~ then choose other port~~ i short ~~ 1 to 4 USB port can support cooler + keyboard + mouse + pendrive with no problem at all thumbup.gif

fellow users... i'm an old dinosaur with computers... (my last laptop was ten yrs old). have many questions:

1. does the n82jv come with windows 7 32 or 64?

2. i downloaded the 257.21 drivers (for windows 7 64) but its not resolving the blue/white light on the power button.. i thought thats supposed to fix it?

3. how do i monitor temperatures? software? can't seem to search forum properly

4. what does that S.H.E. do? does it sing taiwanese pop songs?

5. i see ppl saying they can overclock cpu - how is this done?

6. what are the bloatwares i can safely remove from the laptop?

thanks guys

1. Win7 x64 iirc but still need verdang or dagnaros to clarify this nod.gif

2. Might related with BIOS, any BIOS update for it?? Try re-install it again perhaps nod.gif

3. HWMonitor, for CPU can use CoreTemp (google it smile.gif) and GPU can use GPU-Z also

4. Nonsense question, not related to Mobile Computing at all doh.gif

5. Yes, you can OC your CPU but pretty risky because wrong step and you'll burn your CPU and bye bye

6. Well, check one by one, see if the bloatwares useful or not, some are not while some are just crap..well, if you can use it then no need to uninstall it nod.gif

thanks guys for the hwmonitor and z-gpu lead.

2. my problem seems kinda fixed. previously when using the nvidia, still no white lights after installing latest driver. thought i had installed wrong driver as i wasn't sure about whether the windows was 32 or 64bit. Also because i received some error messages while trying to install that driver (i tried 4 times before no error msg)

the n82jv has this S.H.E. thing about saving energy - anyone enabled?
