huh suppose to be 15" killer? means wat? this notebook is 15" or ???
*
This laptop is 14" but the spec can compared to laptop within 15"/16" range..that's the reason why called it 15" killer as we rarely see a powerful 14" laptops for gaming nod.gif...as we know, when using such mid-powerful cards as HD5650/GT335M in a 14", the main concern is heat sad.gif..same goes to Y460, the good thing is that the GPU is switchable (well, N82Jv got optimus tongue.gif)...

Acer 4820TG is S$2000, around RM4.7K...
So far on reviews available, seems good.

to be honest the colour is horrible.! and i rather buy dell for that price
*
What do you meant by the color is horrible, issit the appearance??? Well, some do look at appearance when choosing a laptop while some look at spec, for which i think N82Jv is more on spec-base (for a gaming mobility laptop like the N80 Series before)...

QUOTE(CSYONG @ Jun 24 2010, 01:58 AM)
fellow users... i'm an old dinosaur with computers... (my last laptop was ten yrs old). have many questions:

1. does the n82jv come with windows 7 32 or 64?

2. i downloaded the 257.21 drivers (for windows 7 64) but its not resolving the blue/white light on the power button.. i thought thats supposed to fix it?

3. how do i monitor temperatures? software? can't seem to search forum properly

4. what does that S.H.E. do? does it sing taiwanese pop songs?

5. i see ppl saying they can overclock cpu - how is this done?

6. what are the bloatwares i can safely remove from the laptop?

thanks guys
*
1. Win7 x64 iirc but still need verdang or dagnaros to clarify this nod.gif

2. Might related with BIOS, any BIOS update for it?? Try re-install it again perhaps nod.gif

3. HWMonitor, for CPU can use CoreTemp (google it smile.gif) and GPU can use GPU-Z also

4. Nonsense question, not related to Mobile Computing at all doh.gif

5. Yes, you can OC your CPU but pretty risky because wrong step and you'll burn your CPU and bye bye

6. Well, check one by one, see if the bloatwares useful or not, some are not while some are just crap..well, if you can use it then no need to uninstall it nod.gif
