2: about the application manager error , when i opened the application manager icon,it pop out operation failed,then i can search for any apps at all, can someone help me out with the error log below?

guys, i realized when i upload photos via n900 to fb, there is no more "uploaded via n900" o.o it changed to "uploaded via facebook mobile".

You have a new phone right? Flash the Firmware and eMMC manually (check frontpage) and you should be far, far happier then if you update through App Man.

You WILL lose all settinga, contacts, etc. But it's a new device amirite?

is there 10.2010.19-1.001 version?i thought only got 002/003/004. btw, 002 is for US release, 003 for Middle East and North Africa release, and 004 for India release. mine is 10.2010.19-1.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203 which is UK version. thats y i cant updating to pr 1.2 global release

ohh.. im pretty sure i saw 002 and 003 so i thought there was 001 version.

how about just "10.2010.19-1" without the notations?

If 2nd hand even better if you manually reflash both firmware and eMMC, because then you will have a clean N900, almost like a new phone (at least inside).

Check the steps on frontpage (page 1).

Also, first make sure your USB Cable and USB Port is working properly (cucuk into computer, see if you can access mass memory mode), if not you're in trouble.

btw, 10.2010.19-1 is global release. why curious?have u upgrade to pr 1.2?

hrm. i didn't realize that one having orange menu. damn.

prior to this new firmware my browser no problem.

after update, 1st time face browser crash.

even with applications, it doesn't load that smoothly.

no differences at all.just diff IMEI number. and have to update firmware accordingly. HK release got chinese input. but radio functionality such as fm transmitter or fm receiver is disabled by default.

mean when it shows that CMT flashed successfully then straight away take out the battery and just pull out the usb cable is it??
