QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ May 16 2010, 04:08 PM) can u be specify with your problem like what's your firmware version? What did u do before that? how old is your phone? What network are u using? R u using postpaid or prepaid? Could it be the network u are using down? i'm using good-old PR 1.1 (3.2010.02-8.203.1). last time i've installed new apps is about 2 weeks ago, but since yesterday i cant make any call. as far i remembered, i dont do anything that might caused problem.i've bought my phone about month ago, using Maxis Hotlink Youth Club Prepaid. and regarding about network down, i dont think so bcoz i've tried call my number using his number (maxis prepaid). not a problem. later i try to swap my celcom number try to call using this phone. Is it u having the wifi bug? http://forums.internettablettalk.com/showp...96&postcount=56 about wifi bug, i will try solve using that method. will update here about the progress. thanks a lot aspire! |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ May 16 2010, 08:23 PM) what about taking another network sim to try on your n900? If fail better send for warranty. I heard of wifi not working but calls not working never hear before yeah, i've tried swapping with other sim, still cannot. but when i try on other phone, it can. really strange, since it cant make any call only. received call/send sms/received sms all seems no problem. about wifi problem, i cant surf internet, but i can download stuffs from application manager. how bout that? |

guys, i've failed flashing AGAIN to pr1.2. i've done full reflashing (rootfs+eMMC) but still got infinite reboot loop. now reflash to pr 1.1, seems ok, but the first boot took long enough (around 2 minutes). After load into homescreen, my sim card is not detected.
btw,RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin and RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin (global release) is what i'm using to flash. This post has been edited by acat: May 26 2010, 10:58 AM |

TQ 1. turn off. 2. hold U key and plug USB cable until can see NOKIA logo and USB logo at top right and then release U key. 3. goto run> and type cmd. then type cd\program files\maemo\flasher-3.5. done 4. type flasher-3.5 -F <ur BIN name> -f (no -R, as forumer suggest) 5. once finished, immediately take plug out USB cable and turn off n900. 6. repeat step 4 only change vanilla BIN name, but with -R in the end. 7.auto-reboot. then i still got infinite reboot loop. what is wrong with my step? |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ May 26 2010, 11:45 AM) use lower case -f as in flasher-3.5 -f <bin name> -f -Rcapital F is Fiasco image -R is for Reboot, you can include it no problem. http://wiki.maemo.org/Flasher right? |
