no differences at all.just diff IMEI number. and have to update firmware accordingly. HK release got chinese input. but radio functionality such as fm transmitter or fm receiver is disabled by default.

oh thx. normally how often there is a firmware update. n900 so buggish...

guys, do u think N900 is really good despite it's size that kinda bulky?

i am thinking to get one just to play or have a taste of it.. currently i'm on android and also have bb as my 2nd phone.. i am bored with iPhone while Bold2 failed to impress me.. nokia's symbian and SE also quite yesterday and i am amazed there's quite a number of people saying n900 is a powerful device... neway jumping to a new platform might provide me opportunity to learn new things and this is the only thing that excites me to try N900 biggrin.gif

with n900 u'll get desktop-like experience of internet surfing. no more mobile version. but u can change to mobile version anytime if u want to save a bandwidth. about read files from usb, i've read somewhere, its called USB-on-the-go but it will not support n900 but N8 yes rclxms.gif

i think you have to rename the file with .bin in the end.

i mean without data plan, will it be a useless phone like for eg. BB? i've subscribed unlimited data plan for my nexus one and i wonder if i only used n900 with wifi, will it be total useless as a smartphone when i'm out of wifi coverage area..
